idk if the AAUC deal goes through or falls through but I don't particularly mind either way. I always thought the takeover price was too low so I have been selling other holdings to buy more AAUC. If they do buy it I get a nice return, if they don't the stock price will probably falter a bit but I think the stock price should be higher than the current price at $4k gold so I think it's a reasonable position to keep.

God help us if gold dumps though. That would force me to take some painful losses.

It's the worst timing for my personal situation. I was expecting miners to be peaking this summer following silver's 50 year pattern but instead I'm down 50%.
>>
>>24656023
I was talking about equity prices. You know the whole sector would gigadump if gold went down like $500/oz for example. That includes Snowline. The only adequate hedge against falling prices is cash. We're all strapped to this rocket for better and worse

Snowline will never gigadump, not even with a $500 drop in gold price, which isn't happening. The long overdue newsflow will be rolling soon and even if gold dumps, SGD will hold up better than nearly everyone else

>>
>>24656499
Snowline should hold up better than most stocks due to being very high margin, but it seems like beta on developers is also supercharged by speculation of M&A which heats up way more when gold price is high.

I surpassed the 6 figure into 7 figures a long time ago. I still kinda just yolo around with it. I don't even need money because I live like a monk. After finishing my wagie cagie today I took my paid of Volvo diesel from 2010 and drove down to the gas station to fill it up before they adjust the prices. Made me feel like a financial genius so I splurged and bought an expensive snickers for 1.3$ as celebration because it's also my birthday (14/7). My family is away so we'll celebrate with going to the bath house with the kids a different day. Tomorrow (14/7) is wagie cagie day again. I don't even know the purpose anymore, I feel poor though I guess. Although I have yearly expenses covered for 42 years. My aim in my brain is 2.5mil and then I'll look for a part time job just for fun and make a divvy port. the money is mostly to feel safe and buy houses for my kids when they need them. I don't know, I just wasn't made for living. My wife and my kids are my everything, I don't need anything other than them.

I think I want money so I can run away from scary things like war and nukes and if Sweden becomes like the UK. Because I have my family new milkers are not available for me, maybe I would have wanted that otherwise.

Oh and btw, don't worry. PMs are gonne rock our nuts off soon enough, so stop being such crybabies. Except the leveraged leaf degen, don't leverage to the tits bro.

I am prepared to baghold for years(as if I have a choice at this point, kek) but my concern is that during that time companies may go bankrupt or do ten rounds of financing making my shares worthless. Fortunately I hold many different shitcos to spread that risk, and my biggest holdings are solid projects. $3500 gold and $48-50 silver might happen now due to sandbox war continuing.

MoU was a ceasefire all along, everyone knew it wasn't going to last not even a month, but the algos pushed those oil futures to the ground with the Chinese and USA reserves used. Now that we are back to an actual war and missiles on the air, oil went up a bit and Im safe again. I was like 3 dollars close to the liq price.I really got lucky on that one

Snowline already gigadumped from $20 to $13 in the last six months when gold came down from $5k to $4k. If gold dumps so will miners. I mean this should be resource investing basics of the basics. Incredible how two years of bull markets shifts investor sentiment like this, I still remember how everybody kept going on and on about how gold going up in 2024 somehow didn't matter for miners because investors were still in a deep bear market sentiment. Crazy to see this lack of logical thinking happen in reverse now

Yep, war for our greatest ally knocked around $300k off my gain, but it's given the opportunity to add more and I believe most likely established that it's not going to gigadump from current levels, even if gold price does

GALLEON CHADS WAGMI

>Zone #9 and the West Deep have historically been drilled as separate targets. This program is progressively closing the gap between them. Continuity has not yet been demonstrated and further drilling is required. However, if continuity is established, the combined system would represent a substantially larger mineralized corridor than either zone considered on its own, with direct implications for resource growth and future mine planning ahead of our upcoming 86,500-tonne bulk sample program. Galleon is steadily proving the scale and continuity of a high-grade gold system in one of the world's premier gold camps.

I do think we are probably close to the bottom for now yeah. This correction is losing steam and the next upswing is probably building up. Still I'm just reminding you that there is no mining equity that is insulated from the underlying metal prices. If gold goes to $5k in the next twelve months, our bags will gigapump. If gold goes to $3k in the next twelve months, our bags will gigadump. This is the trade we all are taking so it's important to stay grounded in that fundamental reality. Even shortfag knows this and times his shorts accordingly whether he admits it or not.

My short trades are exclusively on TSX/TSXV, therefore I have a surplus of CAD for liquidity purposes. Sure, I could trade around that, but I try not to when I'm in the FOREX red. I don't need to withdraw the cash right now, so I'm willing to wait for a favorable exchange rate.

Personally I think it'll be at least a year before we make new highs. Wouldn't be surprised if we see silver in the 30s, not 500.

>>
>>24667396
I agree 30 is more likely than 500, but I think it will be very hard to go below 48-50 because around that level is the breakout of the multi-decade cup and handle.

Did you manage to get out of BOCA, leverage leaf? Just checked in on them and the stock has been halted for two weeks now. Their working capital is negative more than $600k and they seem to have paid $250k last quarter to extend an option to acquire some property. On CEO they seem pretty upbeat about the halt, but I'm guessing they have been trying to raise money and it's not going so well. They don't have any assets so they could very well be declaring bankruptcy, what a shock that would be to the ceo board. Read on there that a dude on reddit had all his money in the stock - $150k.
>>
>>24668060
