How is it that male pattern baldness is genetic when it seems that its affecting the majority of men, and now moreso at younger ages?? Are women globally just selecting and breeding with men that have balding genes?? I dont fuckin buy it, the genetic argument seems its just a scapegoat to hide whatever is the true culprit of male pattern baldness. Why are women only breeding with baldies?????? I thought they try to select for best genes, so if it really is all genetic why are women only selecting balding manlets??(btw only %15 of men globally are 5"11!) Thankfully im at least not a manlet, but sometimes i think id rather take off a couple inches if it meant i could keep my what was once beautiful hair
>>
Probably all the chemicals we are exposed to, along with the fact being a man is generally a far more stressful life. I could see microplastics playing a role in this, maybe some sort of chemical reaction.

Some guys are just unlucky. I always kinda wondered about that. Does humanity itself have a life cycle, so to speak. What if we are just so far down the line that this kind of shit is inevitable until we blow ourselves up

I'm in my 30s and balding but slower than any of my relatives

Feels good to be king

baldness came with capitalism.
if we get to communism, baldness will be replaced with full head of hair just like it used to be in feudalism

Arent hair growth drugs a multimillion dollar industry? With that in mind, i think thats why they wont every try to figure out whats really behind hairloss. It could be all those things you listed, and i think youre right to mention microplastics because its known to disrupt hormones
>>24662239
Do whatever you can to keep it. Maybe if i had treated my hair better with quality shampoo and conditioner i could have slowed the recession or something. I VILL never cūck out and take pharajewticals to try and save my hair, and you shouldnt either imo

Werent/isnt there bald commies thaux? Idec at this point. Id be willing to go full commietard if it meant i keep my (what was once) fully vegetated lushious locks ughhhhh

because its not genetic its hormonal
>>
I'll say this Everytime 90% of balding is due to fungal infections or alcohol abuse the 10% that is genetic is only a disposition not full baldness usually thinning to receding at most
Just was your damn head and stop drinking

finasteride works really well, especially if you get on it right away when you first notice loss, but there's also a low % chance it makes your dick not be able to get as hard which is quite a trade off

good luck finding out

it really don't matter though, compared to a lot of other things at least
just trying to wire you with shame devices so that you create suffering where none should exist

What fungal infection is it thats affecting all of us? Cant be alcohol for me since i drink like twice a month(a lot less in winter, a bit more in summer)

Id rather drink horse piss if that were the cure
>>24662926
>doesnt really matter compared to other conditions
Thats how i ultimately feel, but sometimes wonder what if does matter. What if theres some physical health benefit to having your hair, or maybe hairloss as an indicator of more serious issues.

>>doesnt really matter compared to other conditions
i used ambiguous words, but i didn't just mean other conditions or health things
i meant "there's bigger problems and more to worry about in the short-term, personally AND in the world more broadly, than ur hair"
or something along those lines
>but sometimes wonder what if does matter. What if theres some physical health benefit to having your hair, or maybe hairloss as an indicator of more serious issues.
i guess yeah, chances are it does
i'm pretty sure you can go bald faster if you have very poor hygiene, or like fungus, for example
probably easier to get fungal infections if you have poor health more generally, so that's one way it might correlate or be an indicator

still though, there's probably stronger & more useful indicators of health, if that's what you're mainly worried about
but yeah maybe it could be an interesting one

Well thats just the fucking thing right there! If its such a non-issue then it should be solved by now ffs. Faggots left and right are trying to tell me SUPERGIGA AGI is right around the corner but we cant figure out hair loss? They can only "figure" it out enough to profit on some drugs but thats it?
>>24663160
Yup
>>
>>24663219
>If its such a non-issue then it should be solved by now ffs
it's caused by your own hormones so there's no real "solving" it. you can take drugs that change your hormones so that it stops, but it starts up again the second you stop taking them and it has bad side effects as anything that impacts your hormones is naturally going to do.
>>
>>24663219
>it should be solved by now ffs. Faggots left and right are trying to tell me SUPERGIGA AGI is right around the corner but we cant figure out hair loss? They can only "figure" it out enough to profit on some drugs but thats it?
yes you're right, but now you're getting to the heart of a much more giant issue, which is that we live in a very hellish backwards realm in a lot of ways & it doesn't need to be this way
>>
and for the record we won't get super AGI for a very long time, if ever
>>
>>24663236
I prefer SOLUTIONS that get at the root of the problem(no pun intended). Not some temporary bandaid that i have to take all the time. Plus like i said it goes against my principals of keeping those multimillion(might even be billion; never checked) drug companies running, which ensures therell never be a cure. I mean youre even a great salesman for them, telling me theres no other option except to take their drugs. Im a way youre proof of what im saying
>>24663239
Well.maybe more ought to talk about it from this perspective. Cuz right now the convos on this topic is either snakeoil or drugs, and i guess the its-just-genetics-bro bit.
>>
>>24663292
>I prefer SOLUTIONS that get at the root of the problem
the real solution is you finding a way to not be a little bitch and accepting that going bald is natural and has been happening literally as long as recorded history.
if this is impossible for you I imagine bioengineering follicles that are immune to the hormones will probably happen within the next decade or so, although I think just taking a pill to alter the hormone that causes it is a slightly less horrifying option.

>Well.maybe more ought to talk about it from this perspective.
i agree very much..
it may sound pessimistic the way i put things, but it's just brass tacks. the point is it doesn't NEED to be this way, it's FORCED to be this way & would cease to be so under certain conditions..
then technology and other things could move forward properly, perhaps
>Cuz right now the convos on this topic is either snakeoil or drugs, and i guess the its-just-genetics-bro bit.
yeah it's a shit show
as much as people say "we live in a society", we actually don't
we live in a big economy, and it seems like either society & economy are mutually exclusive when each taken to their conclusions, or that something else is hostile toward society

Tinea capitis mainly highly contagious highly transmittable or you can just scratch your dirty balls then scratch your head and get a yeast infection that'll ravage your scalp under your hair for years until you finally notice it

>people say "we live in a society", we actually don't

Grim cuz true. Makes me wonder if this is related to the inventions secrecy act. Apparently its a law that prevents anyone from patenting anything that could be a socalled threat to national security, which includes economic security. As i understand it, basically you cant invent something that would wipe out a multimillion dollar industry. i.e. a cure for balding for example
>>24663329
Idk i looked at pics of people affected with this and it doesnt at all look like my receding hairline. Its like patches of baldness and i dont have the symptoms either(itchiness, redness, pain(physical), flakiness)

Washing your head frequently/daily with shampoo and hot water makes you bald.

My brother and dad always did it and they got bald at ~19.

I took a better care of my scalp and my hair is fab. Feels good to be right.
