Final verdict on the queen mary is that its a cozy way to cross the atlantic if time is no object. It can be really great if you bring a sweetheart along too. If you just wanna transit though you should be smarter than me and book a last minute crossing, that is even cheaper than a flight, my price was about the same, harder to do that with a return trip though but you can always fly. Food is good, entertainment is pretty good too, crowd is really old but very friendly.
