i think that's a stroad, yeah
you can see a sidewalk to the right
it can be difficult to pull into places from one of those while in traffic, or even see where you're supposed to pull in xd
cool photo though i like the lighting

i imagine that would be especially true while traveling, like if you're jet lagged or have a poor sense of time/daylight for one reason or another
>>24687444

are u on benzos or something lol.
sounds like me tryna get ready to go somewhere after a few bars.
pic looks fairly similar to where i went today but u guess everywhere has grass and electricity pylons xD
is the very neat row of trees like forrestry land or a giand hedgerow to hide something?
>>24687444
owie :'(

it'd be neat to have a radio watch that changes timezone automatically for travelling. I guess phones do that but best to not overly rely on them when travelling.
>>

can I ask what made u post a truck stop in northern ireland?

ah ye

i always wondered about "survival watches", things like garmin and other products
also diver's watches

its my life's goal to one day build a small castle/manor sort of thing
I've got it all planned out, like how it'd be built section by section, the amount of stone I'd need, the cost of materials and labor, the architecture of all the different parts of it

mega based
i think the guy who created the ultima RPG games (ratio garrott?) used his fortune to do that, a few decades ago

>>24688782
>1708197480802850.jpg
i swear, i saw a sort of house/manor which looked a lot like this in the woods at one point, in a very remote area
it was visibly much newer & more modern than what's in your image, i wish i could describe though it looked very out of place
>>
>>24688955
sometimes in america you see really tacky looking "castles" bought and designed by people who dont really care about it so maybe thats what it was
I dont really want something fake looking but I also know that building meter thick walls out of irregularly shaped stones isnt the most realistically affordable option either, so I could save a lot of money and time by filling the space inside the stone walls with concrete and rebar, which I've seen done with good results

roofed walls like this scratch a certain itch
>>
and having timber walls on the upper floors like this would be a great way to both lower costs and increase the aesthetics

>survival watches
a lot of them are mostly bullshit marketing.
unless its got a fucking GPS beacon in it a watch isn't much help in a survival situation unless its analogue then u can use it to find north.
>divers watches
this is kinda an antiquated thing. ppl used to use charts to figure out things like decompression times and how to avoid nitrogen narcosis so needed an accurate watch that was waterproof.
the accuracy and durablity of these watches was used to market them to non divers and is why shit like the rolex mariner got so popular.
but these days you wouldn't want a dive watch as a time peice because divers now wear essentially a wrist mounted computer that tracks shit like depth, time at depth, the gas mix they are breathing ect and more accurately tells them how much decompression obligation they have racked up.
bulky, ugly and not much use to non divers. u do get dedicated time peices for diving but they are not as nice looking as the dive watches of old.
>>24688782
I really hope u manage it man <3
I just wanna build a little cabin or something my ambition isn't as high as yours xD
I've stayed in a castle before, an exes parents owned one it was crazy.
she always acted like her parents were like normal working class ppl but these motherfuckers lived in a literal fucking castle with spires and shit xD
>>24688955
interesting. I wonder when it was built, mightve been fairly old by american standards even if it looked pretty new.
>>24689053
this guy has good taste in castles
>>24689084
oh yeah that's nice. maybe not the best if there's a seige but this is more a manor than a castle
>>
Not comfy. They look like asylums.
>>
>>24692369
asylums aren't generally in old ass castles
