When I was in high school, my two friends owned 4 chevy novas between them. Only 1 would be running at any particular time. The other three were parked at various locations around town. Whenever the operating Nova broke down, they'd go to the next one to scavenge a part to get back on the road again. I still remember Lennie shocking his ass across the parking lot trying to swap batteries in a rainstorm. Then they traded them all in for a two tone ex-state police car, blues brother's style. Good times.

Turns out I really enjoy fixing things. Bought the wife a new car, not afraid to work on it either. If you understand computers and basic electronics than modern vehicles are not difficult.

I can fix most issues on a 2010 car but not on a 2020. There's alot of electronics that require expensive and even legally locked tools to fix it independently.
