4chan in general, or /pol/? Most of 4chan is great. It has gigantic wells of knowledge on all sorts of specific things, especially hobbies, that are hard to find elsewhere. The only "bad" parts of it are the areas that tend to devolve into cultural and political discourse quickly. But even those places are fine if you're not mentally ill and don't let words hurt you. Overall I'd say it's a net positive. It has a lot of good stuff in it, and the designated areas are great for venting and expressing certain views that you might otherwise have to clam up about elsewhere. It's only bad for the mentally ill or those that are objectively net-losses on the world (Jeets, Jews, independent women, etc) and get called out for being as such.

Those are the worst social medias out there
Reddit… can be fine if you’re using it to find information to really technical stuff
Instagram/facebook/linkedln etc are needed to have a social life and make connections
Twitter is the worst piece of shit cesspool that should be deleted first
And as for 4chan… well it depends on how addicted you are… it can be fun to laugh at while you’re bored, but it can’t be productive thats for sure.
