I've been raised as a Christian my whole life, I'm brown and my family from 3rd world country, but born and living in the US basically 95% of my life. This has been the hardest year of my life so far. Things just keep going wrong and no matter how hard I try things keep getting worse. Is Christianity really for everyone? I feel like God doesn't love brown people like me at all.

>the universe exists in complexity, magnitude and mystery that goes infinitely beyond even the greatest minds that have ever existed in human history>so much so that humanity will more than likely never understand a lot of it>even our own planet is teeming with a complex interconnected web of life and other forces>if a being or group of beings created all this deliberately, then it/they have the intelligence and power to think it up and bring it into existence>for some reason, whatever has this unfathomable capacity is intensely interested in your life, how you live it, and what happens to youWhy do religious people always do this? Even if there is a god/gods, or something approximating that, has it ever occurred to you that you might not actually be that important to it? Or are you really that self-important?
