I'm a friendless incel and the Internet is the only way for me to cope with being alone 24/7. It's my dose of socialization. I once tried being truly alone with no Internet but it felt horrible.

Internet is like a (mild, but persistent) drug, I think it's the blue light, honestly.
Like a drug that society demands you take.
Best to taper off with epubs, offline games, etc, and just load up on fun things to do offline to distract yourself.
Thing is, modern life is still sorta built around having a phone, having Google maps, having access to email. Etc.

>>
Without internet your brain would force you to eventually get out and talk to people or something. You felt horrible because you have an addiction to cheap dopamine shots, like most people nowadays. It's literally your brain torturing you to have its fix, while your life slips away
>>

Sucks
>>
>>24832632
You were being introverted around other people. You still had friends but you were the quiet one in the group.
>>
>>24832632
You had no choice. It was. And that’s it. Maybe, we’ve become weak?
>>
>>24832634
Gay. And I’m a drug addict… true friends hang around; maybe you didn’t have them to begin with? Much more depressing I know, but here we are… honestly, it’s up to (you) to make your life great. Blame no one but yourself if it didn’t go your way.

It was harder and you just lived with it. You could goto the library, take out books and rent videos. You could go for walks, day or night. Despite the lack of connection, the world was more real and magical.

Idiots like this dickhead make it easier to go without the internet though. But then again, dickheads like him at everywhere in society. You know, offline/AFK.
I just got out of jail for assault with a deadly weapon and let me tell you the people in jail are the stupidest motherfuckers you have ever met.
I had no idea dumbfucks like that existed in such numbers.

So, it goes both ways.
Good luck, OP.

Normies are shit, always have been.

I was an isolated homeschooled child during the 90s. my parents lived deep in the countryside and I pretty much had nobody. they didn't even let us have tv.

I spent a ton of time just building lego or playing single player videogames. looking back it was pretty fucked up what my parents did to us.

I had the internet back then but it was dial up and we could only use it a little bit from time to time. I browsed forums all the time I could.

eventually in the early 00s we moved to some suburbs and also got dsl. I was a total loser at school because I was so out of touch with how to act. spent all my time on the internet or playing wow. eventually dropped out of school. had to do an exam to go to university then spent university as a shutin incel loser.

end of the story is me becoming a bitcoin millionaire and now I spend my time as a shutin loser, but rich.

during the homeschooled period my mother decided it was too boring being at home teaching us so she would go work and she just left us with a bunch of books to figure out how to teach ourselves.

no religious reason or anything, they just said "they wanted to be together as a family" even though 80% of the time it was just us left alone at home. idk what the fuck they were thinking. they talk about how great they were as parents too. I'm too rich to care now though, desu I never even thought about it until I saw this thread.

we did live in a huge beautiful countryside estate though. we actually had a billionaire neighbor down the road.
>>
>>24832654
Nah. That’s on you, not your parents. You can blame them for some things, but not that. You chose. And this coming from someone that was massively introverted. Guess that’s the difference with nz and us.

Some things you can only learn by being alone… it’s too easy to blame other people for your shortfalls. Maybe introspection is in order?

They were forced outside. Internet is a gateway to behavior thought impossible a few decades ago. Most of the degeneracy of the current world is supposed thanks to the internet. 200 hundred years ago, a furry had family and took longer walks in the woods than normal, came back home and lived a normal life. Today they get encouraged on discord, buy a fur suit online delivered at home and become degenerates.

The internet makes being alone easier, but there were always hermits who had no interest in socialization.
>>
>>24832632
I got "online" for the first time in 1983. BBSes were local and we had meet ups for picnics and stuff like that a couple of times each year. Depending on where you lived, there sometimes were local BBSes that could sent and receive internet email but typically they only did one mail run per day and it might take up to a week for an email to wind its way through the network due to other nodes also doing just one check per day.
>>
>>24832632
True loners didn't really care so much about being social.Hence wether or not there was an outcast element to it loners found activities easily on their own.

I hiked. Fished. Did urban exploration. Went to museums. Read books. In general lived a far healthier life, actually. Ironic that now I'm married and when we're not working, we just lurk online with my wife, and kids would be at their phones 24/7 if they could choose. The irony is that I miss the 90s, when I was an incel with no life.

Anybody here remember the good times? (70's and 80's)

>No security cameras
>No cellphones
>Ultima on your Apple ][+ or Atari
>Could say whatever you wanted and not be sanctioned/cancelled
>Compliment a girl on her tits and she would blush and say thank you!
>Guaranteed jobs straight out of high-school
>Faggots beaten regularly
>Secret porn stashes in the woods
>Male teachers as role models
>Cities not overrun by minorities
>No helmets or any protective gear
>Zero fear of germs
>Real language with little euphemism
>Exchanged letters with girls at school. Girls would even mail you letters.
>Pictures actually meant something because you had to pay to get them processed
>Friends were actual friends and had your back
>Moms still knew how to cook
>Smoking at school
>Almost everyone got in fights at school. Right of passage.
>Girls dressed up and did their hair even to goto 7-11
>Porn was the Sears Catalog
>All night skating at the rink. Dropped off at 6 pm on Friday. Picked up at 3 pm on Saturday.

From what I can guess, some of them went for pussy as hard as they could because it's the best organic entertainment one can get in this hellscape and the rest just slowly died in misery.
>>
>>24832632
Internet is probably a couse of your predicament. Makes poeple less social in real life. In past you could have no friends and talk to random strangers and meet friends eventually. With internet everyone is boring antisocial and non receptive. Women too. I could strike up a conversation only with older women. Young ones lack conversation skills.
You can be apolon and walk up to ugly fattie and chances are she will get nervos and reject you.

Get used to it. All of the greatests minds that ever existed agrees on one thing: real creativity and innovation can only bloom when you are completly alone. That's when your brain decides if it will use it's free time to think about real relevant things or if it will dwell in depression.

My uncle was one of these types of guys and from what other family members tell me, he used to just smoke pot and listen to music. I believe he used to play arcade games too. He's been a NEET his entire life (my aunt has supported him since he was 23 years old)
>>
>>24832691
I think the internet has shown us virtually every life that's possible to live. And so when you see some random person in public, your mind automatically calculates their entire life and assumes they probably wouldnt be interesting at all to talk to. It's no longer possible to mesmerize anyone these days, or inspire curiosity about "who is that person? let me go find out".
The only thing people are fixated on now is 16-21 year olds, the rich, and the very attractive (and you kinda need to be all three nowadays to be worth anything to the masses). Everyone else is just uninteresting waste

And sure, eventually people settle for their loyalties (wives, boring friends, etc), but they always watch and privately seethe they cant live the lives of the beautiful ones
>>
>>24832699

you had to pick up some introvert real life hobby to pass time, eventually lead you to make some friends with similar fags. I had access to internet since 2004, and you played COD, contacted on MSM, as I remember facebook became mainstream in 2010, then things went fucking downhill quickly
>>

>we had sex

kek.
When high-school girlfriend comes to your house for saturday lunch and visit. Go for a walk, tell family "We are going to walk the fenceline and spend some time at the duck-pond".

Dad looks up, knows that is code for 'We are going to the pond and will be fucking until sundown'.
Dad says "Swing by the shed and let me know if I have to mow or clear the woodline".
Which was code for "If you spend the night outside sleep in the loft so I know where you guys are".

Never recognize a Golden Age for what it is, until it's over.

Sure, let me stitch a little piece of information to you that you might have missed: The genes are dilutated in a way that you might be able to find two people completly unrelated in parts of the world that Soares common ancestry and matching them gives you the probability of getting an almost identitical genetic pattern as someone else.

Search it up: why there are people with the same appearence as someone else in the world but it is completly unrelated?

Genes expression and peas.
