Think about this: tripfags are the type of people who would never be able to make a name for themselves where everyone has a name because they are uninteresting, so they come to an anonymous imageboard and craft an identity for themselves to stand out amongst a crowd who has no identity. Clearly these people are attention seekers who can't get attention anywhere else.
