I work with homeless "people" and I genuinely hate them so much
They are a literal biblical plague on our communities

Deport all the illegal alien anchor grandbabies and that's the end to homelessness in the USA faggot op.
>>
>>24963231
>society broke them. you are party responsible for their condition
not really
most of them are aggressive animals, physically attacking everything in sight, since they were a small child
others are incredibly stupid, but also incredibly "passionate" about crime

these two types account for 99.5% for homeless "people"
the rest, yeah, are normal people sleeping rough and leaving day to day
>>
>>24963231
Society isn't making them schizo ramble and inject fent into their penis
>>
>>24963228
Can you divide them up into different groups or tranches?
Like:
>bat shit crazy
>drug addicts
>unemployable
>flaming assholes
>down on their luck

There's only two overlapping categories
Insane
Drug addicts

Anyone who doesn't belong to these categories doesn't stay homeless long enough to matter

Studies have been done for decades, there are two groups of homeless, the temporarily homeless and the "chronically homeless", who are defined usually as "homeless more often than not homeless over five years". The temporarily homeless are the majority, but they aren't anyone's big concern because almost *all* of them return to having a permanent home within five years and out of the homeless they commit less crime than the minority "chronic homeless".

The chronically homeless are almost all drug addicts, but what's interesting is that a huge majority of them (80-90%) have crippling mental illnesses which predate their homelessness. Almost all of them are deemed not suitable to stand trial for one crime or another at some point in their life. They're literally just the mental handicap patients that used to be jammed in Asylums and now are just roaming the streets.

We took away something with a lot of problems and replaced it with "just dump them in the alleyway".

The avoidance junkies become homeless, and they're the best type of junkies to work with

cause we created a society where they can eat and sleep just fine

Yeah and it's the same with criminals, there's ones that can be genuinely rehabilitied and then there's just trash that needs to be burnt.
The issue is the system lumps them together which lowers the chances of saving the good ones and wastes resources on the bad ones.

There's a better version of image, but adjust to the present for reducing incarceration without restoring asylums and just leaving the gap on the streets w no treatment.

that's a good graph

there was a similar phenomena (no graph tho) with the dissolution of the monasteries: when they were closed, a crime wave washed over Britain that continues to this day
while monasteries were functioning, like some humane version of mental asylums, all the crazy people were chill and crime was the last thing on their mind

makes you wonder doesn't it
>>
>>24963243
Hmm I wonder (((who))) did these studies.
Seriously though, you're a retard if you don't think lower house costs = lower homelessness rate.

I've spent probably over 10 years on the streets and I hate them too.

Avoidant personality disorder?
>>
>>24963250
Anon if you read my post you'd see I literally talked about how the majority of the homeless were *not* the insane bag men but you're such a fucking retard you couldn't even get through a paragraph.

What EXACTLY do you think happened to all the mental defectives that we were keeping in public asylums anon? Moreover what percentage of the population do you think suffers from pre existing mental handicaps so severe that giving them a free house wouldn't help them long term? Spoiler: any realistic number you can think of will match up to the minority of the homeless that constitutes the stereotype, the addled lunatic homeless, i.e. the chronically homeless.

>The chronically homeless are almost all drug addicts, but what's interesting is that a huge majority of them (80-90%) have crippling mental illnesses which predate their homelessness
not really, those numbers are pretty off and so sauce
while yes most of them are drug addicts, this is not in response necessarily to having a mental illness, though this does happen. these mental disorders are usually cluster b personality disorders, which leave them still criminally responsible for their actions.
so these are people who, since birth, have been lying, cheating, stealing, manipulating, and conning.
i just looked it up and only about 7% qualify for schizophrenia dx. lots of anxiety and depression too, but those don't take over your body by remote control and force you to smoke meth and steal from the dollarama.
I've stayed in a low barrier shelter for a few months and almost everyone there was a recidivist criminal and super proud of it. they had a lifestyle and loved it. they love putting one over on others, duping delight. they suckered the state and all the bleeding hearts into subsidizing their drug addict criminal lifestyle. they all get hooked up with welfare and their shelter is taken care of, so the money they get is all used for drugs, bluetooth speakers and jordans.
these people are the result of single mothers who had personality disorders, leading them to be single mothers in the first place (aka someone incapable of a relationship). these disorders are genetic, we know this. these women hook up with bad boys and we get to deal with their hellspawn
https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamapsychiatry/fullarticle/2817602
> In intensive clinical assessments conducted at urban drop-in centers and long-term shelters, researchers have found that up to 74% of the sampled chronically unhoused individuals met the diagnostic criteria for at least one Cluster B disorder.

this is a big issue. people refuse to make any distinction between the two and it just harms both parties. all homeless are heckin wholesome people jsut down on their luck. even the ones that throw needles into children's playgrounds. just heckin wholesome angels.

I work down the street from county which is in the middle of town for some reason so all lowest common denominators are hobbling around. My home county did it right by having the county jail in the middle of fucking nowhere so those people have to at least work to harass the general populace. Ah mannn I just dun got out you can call my parole officer for real for real. I just tryna turns my shit around, feel me?
>>
>>24963254
I'm with you on this (I'm not the other anon BTW). I used to think homeless people need help etc. Then I had encounters with them where they were choosing to be scumbags.

Moat of them are just degenerates who don't want to live like civilised human beings.
>>
Homeless niggers always wait at the exit of my grocery store to beg people leaving for money. Whenever they call out to me i just ignore them and then theyre like "helllooo? Im talking to youuuu" and i continue to ignore them.
Some days i think maybe ill tell them why i dont acknowledge them, but i dont know how to say "sorry i dont engage with homeless NIGGERS" politely
