Got some creamy chicken and spinach spaghetti from the deli for Spaghetti Tuesday .
>>
>>25129870
awww hell yeah!
>>
>>25129828
I'm sure it tastes great but i think u got ripped off, spaghetti chitarra is square in profile and I'm not seeing any shaved truffle meaning they probably used truffle oil which is dirt cheap :(
if you ordered on a delivery service you should try to get a refund even though you enjoyed it because this is not what was advertised.
thank you for your contribution <3
if u like I can teach u to make caccio pepe at home its 3 ingredients (excluding salted water)
>>25129870
looks good :)
thank you for your contribution <3
>>
>>25129717
Fuck I actually ate spaghetti today with spicy sauce but I forgot to take a picture of it, well I still have picture of my breakfast
>>
>>25129952
you dont need picture to join in :)
u can post the breakfast if u like though
>>
>>25129904
oh hell yeah I would love the recipe, the place I order from is pretty cheap and they cut corners a lot. Cooking for myself will be cheaper but I had forgotten it was Tuesday so ordered because it was all so last minute!

>>25129952
Pictures of any food welcome, spaghetti is just the theme of these threads

basically puttanesca but didnt have anchovies
>>25129998
ah if the place is cheap then its ok i guess.
its very simple u just grate a shit ton of peccornino (like >200g) and grind pepper onto it and mix it together.
then you boil spaghetti untill its almost done then drain reserving about 200ml of the pasta water next you throw the spaget and water in a pan on high heat and keep it moving untill most of the water is gone then kill/remove from the heat and when the water has almost stopped boiling throw in the peppered peccornio and toss the spaget with tongs or chopsticks
you can optionally throw in a small knob of butter if u wanna be 100% sure its gonna emulsify.
put on plate and enjoy, u can add a small drizzle of evoo if u like
>>25130051
looks nice.
thank you for your contribution <3

why does it look bloodshot and psychotic like it wants to stab me? 4/10

>>25129828
Okay this looks workable. It looks... hot? Something peppery creamy lol?? Hard for me to imagine what that might taste like honestly. 10/10

>>25129870
This looks cold. Everything is the right size thought to taste all the ingredients together in every mouthful. Thoughtful chef. 10/10

>>25130051
Everything you need and a drink to boot! I've never seen such a varied spread and btw delicious-looking troll areola you have there. 10/10

>>25130344
Legitimately so creative to put olives in. Talk about whole foods. Almost lost me with the coriander but then I figured its probably lovely broad leaf parsley bringing that signature 'pop' of color 10/10

>>25131211
yes, indeed. We always associated that thickness with "going out to eat" spaghetti. It's nice to be able to bite into a speghetti with some chew and bite rite? That's why they call it 'al dente' lmao. Kind of autistic but that's how we progress everyone's standard of food is letting the marco pierrie whites and nona romanos of the world do a bit of sperging in the kitchen, yes indeed kek
>>
>>25131303
it IS bloodshot and psychotic. it DOES wanna stab you.
>10/10
it was indeed parsley.
thank you for the generous rating :)
>"going out to eat" spaghetti
its often referred to as spaghettoni. I think resturants mostly use it because it stands up to reheating better without getting too soft/mushy but it is indeed a delightful texture so I use it at home sometimes.
they precook it most of the way then cool it. they then reheat each portion by boiling it again for just a couple mins.
this can sometimes give it an udon like texture which is handy if u wanna make an asian noodle soup dish but can only have spaget. you'll just wanna cook it a bit longer than if you were making an Italian dish then run the spaget under cold water before finishing it in the broth.

i've def watched every one of the shows, multiple times, especially TNG and DS9 and voyager
except discovery...that was not great
did you hear they actually removed it from canon?
it was that bad loool!

yeee ty! :)

I watched like one episode of Discovery and was so disappointed. I'm glad it's not cannon. The next generation, Deep Space 9 and Voyager are all great and should go into some kind of museum, such good storylines I too have watched the episodes multiple times. I even liked Enterprise though I know some don't like it. I really need to add them to my digital collection. The Borg used to scare the shit out of me, I was so terrified of them as a concept I used to have nightmares about 7 of 9 and stuff. Very creepy spooky looking back but now.

did you ever watch lower decks? the animation comedy spin off?
yeah the borg were always so crazy and why they were in so many movies too heh
or what about strange new worlds? i really liked the first two seaons so far, havnet watched anything past that
>>
>>25132917
The way you could just walk around a borg ship and they would ignore you because they didn't see you as a threat was horror/suspense maxing. I was terrified of becoming a borg as a kid.

I stayed away from the new stuff thinking it was all woke and didn't want my Star Trek head cannon ruined. Do you recommend lower decks and strange new worlds?

I think they did excellent jobs with the recent movies comparatively despite being so let down by tv shows like Discovery.
