I humbly request help translating some Japanese text.

あなたのような
若くて可愛い娘さんが
服を着ないという文化には
どうにも免疫かなくて…

In particular:
•娘さん seems like a singular subject but AI/machines claim it's plural.
•免疫 literally means "immunity" but the AI/machines say it's supposed to be "get used to/accostumed" and I think I agree.

What do you think?
>>
Japanese is a context-heavy language. You can't really know whether anything is either singular or plural in isolation. However, あなた usually means "you" (singular), so I'll interpret it that way.
I'd have to see the rest of the fragment in order to translate it, but here's my best shot:
To a young, beautiful maiden such as you, there can be no immunity (resistance) to a culture where clothes are not worn.

I'd kind of expect to see something like はならない (cannot be) after なくて (there be not) so it becomes なくてはならない (must be), even though it could also be は無論 (is indisputable) or something of that sort.

>あなた usually means "you" (singular)
Yes, and the -san honorific is rarely used for a group of people. It should be a no-brainer but, in the context of the story, it makes more sense for the statement to be in plural, which is why I find it confusing.
>expect to see something like はならない (cannot be) after なくて (there be not) so it becomes なくてはならない (must be), even though it could also be は無論 (is indisputable) or something of that sort
The character tends to use redundancy to add emphasis to his statements. Kinda like this guy.

>The character tends to use redundancy to add emphasis to his statements.
By this I mean that he said something like:
>There is no way I can get used to this, I just can't...

Also, sorry for the taking over 14 hours to reply. Stuff keeps getting in the way of me using 4chan.
>>
are some kind of context creator :|

What?
>>
>>25168493
do you like to contextual stuff, like put it in order i suppose
>>
>>25168504
No? I'm just reading something in Japanese and need help with it.

Your question is weird and your English very broken. Why?
>>
>>25168521
what are you implying, that my context is weird or my grammar is poor.

Yonkers ass posting style
>>
>>25168526
Your questions and the way you say them are both very unnatural. It's like you are a very young/ignorant/amnesiac person who doesn't really speak English. Are you a 'bot?
>>
>>25168541
i just started using this board
>>25168546
idk what the fuck amenisatic means but I am kinda like a bot, I mean we all are like an llm in a way just different hardware or firmware or whatever i guess
>>
>>25168562
How would you know that yonkers is a person if you just started posting? You're finished kid. We know who you are and ya blew it. You're cooked, fried and washed. It's never been so over for you.
>>
>>25168603
im just a guy impersonating a guy disguised another guy, you're the guy that don't know what guy he is
>>

>AI/machines claim it's plural.
because of 文化
i think

>>25164537
>To a young, beautiful maiden such as you, there can be no immunity (resistance) to a culture where clothes are not worn.
kek wrong
The emphasis is on the culture and me not getting used to it.

do you understand the difference between は and が
>>
>>25169469
I think so? が is for when something is a place, while は is more general, right?
>>
>>25169470
Here's the gist of it.

You are confusing me for the other mexican. I was asking about how 文化 makes the subject plural. Sorry, I thought the IDs made this obvious. I know that he fumbled the subject/topic disctinction a bit but I didn't bring it up because it wasn't relevant to me.
>>
>>25169510
>I thought the IDs made this obvious.
Not really. On really long threads, I can usually get 4-5 different IDs, depending on where I post and whether my IP address resets itself (which does happen every know and then).
Some people might actually think we're actually just one Mexican with one split personality disorder posting from different devices.
>>
>>25169544
>split personality disorder posting from different devices
At that point, wouldn't it be better to use a proxy to get a different flag?
>>
>>25169556
Mental health disorders are serious business. If you look around, you'll see a lot of threads that are just one guy samefagging for the most part and one or two people coming to reply every now and then.
