Having a spiritual crisis where everything in reality looks as if it is simply the same principles- dark or light, matter and chaos are all the same thing and everything is just flickerings of my own private illusion that I can’t escape and I am alone in. I pray to Christ for deliverance but is this really the true reality. I also feel drawn to Kabbalah and even anti-cosmic ideas because it all seems the same, icons from my own subconscious pretending to be reality; then the reality casino rings and confirms it. But I only truest Christ in the void. Undifferentiated substance pretending to “be.” I feel tempted by the counterfeit spirit to do risky things. Please help me.

Recursive, scaling and nested logic. Everything is made of systems.systems are arrangements of packets of information at their base level. You are seeing these recursive patterns in the information under the surface level. And you are perceiving what the Buddhists call the sunyata. The inherent emptiness of everything. We only see the form, not the truth. The menu and not the meal. The finger pointing at the moon, is not the moon.Dark and light, is binary code. 101010101.
It's called ontological detachment. Viewing the mechanics of humans, existence, the universe and our place within it, removed from the human perspective, and removed from the self. There are 5 levels to this abstraction. You're into the 3rd, brushing against the 4th. Most people never fully see past the first 2. Their thoughts revolve around their daily lives and the functions they perform within them, and how their environment relates to them, and vise versa.If you'd like some perspective, I always recommend Buddhism. It doesn't demand anything, nor does it impose. The philosophical aspects of it don't stand in opposition to any of your current beliefs. Ultimately, Buddhism is what gave me the ability to understand some of these things through frameworks it provides. Many of these frameworks align with and in some cases entirely track onto known scientific and metaphysical concepts and theories. Probably the most compelling is that the karma system itself actually accurately describes the lifecycle of a system, through the lens of the 2nd law of thermodynamics. It accurately maps onto the mechanics behind how a hard drive is defragged. There are compelling answers given, and it imposes no requirements. Just as one can glean knowledge and wisdom from the Bible, so too, here. It also gave me the perspective to not fully turn away from western spirituality and Christian thought and morality, provided in the form of a major breakthrough I made, by giving advice to a Christian who was seeking guidance a while back. He was also questioning existence and his faith. By giving advice to a Christian man questioning his faith, through a Buddhist framework, and then considering the conversation afterwards, I was granted a boon in the form of knowledge that made me realize that these two things are in fact complementary and compounding. They enhance eachother.Good luck
