I drank for twenty years then it finally turned on me in the form of alcohol withdrawals. I continued to drink until the withdrawals were too much and it was requiring me to drink every day just to function. I detoxed in a hospital and when I left I decided I was done. If you are an alcoholic your better off sober if you can control yourself and not get piss drunk every night then maybe alcohol is for you.
