I didn't made that experience at all.
It always tasted as best if my mom and dad cook. Which is quite rare, they are very old. The next is what I cook. I don't think you meant parents with "others" btw. Nope. Eating food others made wasn't bad but it didn't hit my "Jimmy, pls more" point. And it didn't give me what I knew from my own cooked good. Eating other's food is like "you have to like it, you're a guest" and that's nothing I like.
