From top to bottom, made in:UsaFinlandNorwayTop one i like for everyday use
>no Victorinox Blocked
>>25297782you're mixing folder with fixies
>>25297784Yea its not a battle, they’re all good knives
>>25297783Swiss stuff is just overpriced at this point. Im very sorryAnd you didnt get attacked during ww2 so you’re not to be trusted
That's like my multi tools. Just buy them all and when you need a knife you get to chose.
Get the helle! I love them. The birch bark handles are beautiful, light and very resilient and their steel is far superior to most, I have their jegermester to clean my deer with and you could quite literally shave your face with the thing out of the box. They are pricey but well worth it. I probably have well over 100 knives and my Helle is absolutely one of my favorite non-custom knives I’ve ever owned. That one is even full tang unlike mine so you can baton with it if you had to (beating on the back of the knife with a piece of firewood or such to split logs—not recommended unless you can see the spine of the metal running all the way through the handle as is the case with that Helle in the photo), I didn’t know they made a full tang design, that thing is badass!
>>25297787I like the most left one.I have the same leatherman wave you got, its great
>>25297788Nice choice! Wow you got way more knives than me. Got any favorites other than the helle?I got this austrian knife i like for optics
>>25297787Watch out, we've got a badass over here.
>>25297782I liked this knife so much when I was young that I contacted the designer later in life and bought the ones he'd set aside. It's mass produced and the blade is of mediocre quality but otherwise it's the best folding knife I've ever touched.
>>25297782All great
>>25297792you must really love it then. Cool guy that he set them aside
>>25297782Get a bigger knife.
>>25297782Would skip the American one, purely because I don't like the belt clip. Just never sits right in the hand.
>>25297782The USA knife is Chinese. The flatgrind knife in the middle has better steel than both and is a better allrounder.
Opinel is my favourite even though it is French.
>>25297790This one is good
Check out the northern lights series from fallkniven, they are almost made as an homage to Randall custom knives. I think they are using the same Japanese blade maker that cold steel hires out for their premium San Mai knives, the steel is identical and it’s laminated and shaped the same way. Got to be the same factory. I don’t have a Fallkniven yet but it’s on my Christmas list. Better than waiting 7 years for a Randall lol
>>25297782>needs to create a false narrative to send someone to rehab>see exactly how I said it would beSuck my balls.
>>25297797Its a buck knife, i think they are made in usa, no?
>>25297802Some are made in China. I have a Walther Pro, hand feels good, but unfortunately there's also a large chance it was made in China too.
>>25297799Bigger is always better
>>25297798I like opinel, its simple and cheap
The hardest part of carrying a folding knife is telling your parents that youre gay.
>>25297782Depends on what you're using it for and what kind of steel it has. If it's just for EDC and light cutting tasks, obviously the folder would be best. If you're using it for bushcraft, then the bottom knife with the scandi grind is best. Middle knife looks like it has a flat grind and the steel has good corrosion resistance, so it's the best at processing food.
>>25297782The one in the bottom. Darkness is ignorance.
>>25297782mora eldris ftw
>>25297807You know things
Years ago someone on /pol/ recommended a kershaw. I bought one and it's very sturdy and sharp.
>>25297782Bottom>full tang>wood handlefor all I know it's shitier metal or something than the others.
>>25297809Mora has great knifes for sureAnd you guys have great fiskars axes
>>25297782Swedish
>>25297782>everyday use>only sign of use is a chip from improper usenice pocket princess
>>25297814Awesome knives or knifes. I never know
>>25297815I treat it very badly. Still great knife
>>25297782Just a straight blade now. Never found a folding knife that lasted. The last one I had was a cheap flip open I got from bud K I think. That little bastard lasted about 3 years on a job site, finally the bolt just fell out. Been fixed blade ever since. Just a straight tanto blade nothing gay
Obviously gotta have some axesI mean, who doesnt like an axe?
>>25297782using a knife without a guard? OK, obviously not using for self-defence. preparing fish?
>>25297819>who doesn't like an axe?Shelley Duval
>>25297820Guards are there. LeatherThe finnish one has the best sheeth
>>25297798It's because you're British and you're not allowed to have cool knives. Opinels are dogshit. There are nice, budget Chinese knives that blow Opinel out of the water. For $20 more dollars you can get something from Miguron, Vosteed, QSP, CJRB, or the dozen other Chinese knife manufacturers. They typically import the knife steel from the US or Europe, so the quality is actually decent. Also the scales are made out of G-10 or micarta, so you don't have to worry about the handle swelling or splitting.
>>25297802Lol fuck no. Even my Milwaukee knife in D2 is chink.
>>25297782There's no such thing as too many knives or tools. For EDC I have a bunch of US made Kershaw foldersThat Brisa looks like a great hunting/camp knife. Finns make good stuff. But I'm cheap and practical with fixed blades so every vehicle, tackle box, and camping/hunting bag has a Morakniv. Also Leatherman Super Tool 300 for me.
>>25297802Some are. I have an automatic Buck knife that is made in the USA.
>>25297798I love Opinels. Nobody can talk shit about them because they're not only cheap but they're functional and last forever. Chinkshits can cope all they want about their Shengfangdong blades.
>>25297782Finland. The highest IQ one with the lowest standard of living. Smart enough to make quality poor enough to need to depend on it.
>>25297782Helle knives are great knives. but too expensive for me, so i buy Morakniv
>>25297828>>25297829Valid points. I like morakniv aswell, razorsharp
>>25297826What is an automatic knife?
If you knife can't shoot anybody its not a real knife
>>25297816Plural is knives, for future reference.
>>25297827>Nobody can talk shit about themThey suck. I can open my normal pocket knives, cut something, and then close them before you can even open the Opinel. All knives last forever if you take care of them. Opinels are more fragile than modern designs. The collar on an Opinel is one of the weakest locks out there and they're slow to use. The wooden handle can absorb water and change its shape or even split over time. There are materials like richlite that feel similar to wood, but they're immune to chemicals and the elements. And you can get them in any color of have the layers stacked and carve designs.
>>25297833Dankie, ill try to remember
>>25297832Tax stamp status?
>>25297782The bottom one because it has a pommel and it's full tang and it's pommel is steel and it has two holes for lanyard so it can wrap around your hand if you want to do a lanyard through both holes.
>>25297831switchblade. Push button/switch, knife opens.
>>25297782For bottom one, you can see that there is blade steel trough entire handle, and there is even piece of steel poking out at back of the handle. Which makes it more versatile for camping, as you can smash it to something (like nuts) without worrying to damage the handle. Theese characteristics make it most robust from this set.
Glowie thread:IP now linked to your 3" blade.
>>25297782Bottom reminds me a bit of the hunting knife from Long dark.
>>25297841The design is a typical Scandinavian bushcraft knife. The design is so common that even the blade grind is named the "scandi" grind. There are folding knife versions too.
