Slow night tonight, huh? Time for some tier lists.
>>62260382it mooned to $120 earlier this year lolassets needs to rest after a huge run upjust how it goes
The classic...
Was never a fan of this one, I always felt the jumps between tiers (this one based on price) were too large, but seeing how silver moved in december.. You never know.
>>62260451>How PM fags imagine themselves: dragons, kings and knightsPic related is how they actually look like.
If you've been here a while, you might remember this one, always funny looking back at the tier lists from the earlier days, those massive ounce quantities weren't all that expensive or unrealistic, different nowadays...
>>62260458You'll find all sorts in here, dwarf and otherwise.
Only 0.3 ounces of silver per human are mined annually. How many peoples yearly silver allocation are you holding in your stack? A village worth? A town? A city? And if all the silver above ground in the world was distributed equally, each person would recieve only 3.2 ounces. By this metric it takes 361.9 ounces for you to be, necessarily, in the top 1% of all silver holders globally. Are you in the top 1%?
I've made a cute song to hype up the most mentally ill of (((asset))) classes.Hope you like it, it comes from the heart:>The bag was young, the top foreseen>No stain yet on the chart was seen>No dips were laid on stream or stone>When the PM bought the top alone>He named the nameless dips and dells>He drank from yet untasted wells>He was mocked and kicked off /tcg/>And saw his rock collection appear>As gems upon a Silver thread>"This will one day beat the Fed">Now the world is grey, the bag is old>The hand that holds is ashen-cold>No harp is wrung, no line falls>The darkness dwells in buyer's halls>The shadow lies upon his tomb>Yet he holds, coping off doom>But still the sunken stars appear>His gold can't buy medicine here>There lies his hoarde in water deep>Til' baggie wakes again from sleep
>>62260489But silver is used in all electronics. Just mine more wtf.
These here are 1000oz silver bars, it'll be rarer and rarer going forward to find stackers holding one of these puppies, let alone a bunch of em. If all the silver that exists in this world was forged into these 1000oz standard bars, there'd only be enough for 17.6 million, that's right, less than those "Bitcoins", ain't that somethin? I'd sure love to have one of these suckers in my stack, but I get the feeling that the silver stacking world from here on out is going to be forever split between pre-2025, and post-2025 stackers.
>>62260499In the end that'll be the mistake that bites the kike in the ass. By suppressing silver prices for so long, they made it so mines weren't profitable, and stopped being applied for and opened. Now the majority of silver production comes as a by-product of mining other metals, and therefore production cannot be scaled up at will. It's a karmic system, that price you see on the ticker? It's irrelevant, because every day that passes, more and more of that giant pile of silver that exists in this world is being melted away, inevitably and unstoppably draining towards absolute zero.
My brother died an untimely death recently. He had been wiped out in the GFC when the housing market crashed. He bought one year prior and paid 35% or more down yet was underwater by $100k on a $160k home not a year or two later. He never got back what he put into it. Determined to never be screwed again, he put everything he had into PMs over the last half decade to survive the greater crisis coming. He always took care of me, my only older brother. He let me move in and rent his basement for $400 a month. He was at the same time unemployed for 2 years due to the market and his cash ran out along with his unemployment so he comes to me all sheepishly asking for an extra $100/mo on rent so he could keep the place. I was making enough I could have paid the whole thing! Instead I kept stacking cash for myself because he didn't ever want to feel like he was ripping me off or owing me one. He always looked out for me even when I wasn't. He left me more PMs than I'd ever dreamed of owning and now that he's gone, but all I want back is him. I'd give all this stupid metal up and more to not have to go the rest of my life without my best friend, but instead all I can do is cry over these stupid stacks.
Anyone else getting deja vu from last year when we just keep cycling around $35, except this time it's $75?
>>62260688Yep. I was just thinking exactly that yesterday. If that feeling is correct, then we're in for a sharp tripling to quadrupling followed by a return to roughly about double current price. So I would say, based on nothing but deja vu, we'll spike to ~$200 and settle in around $145 by the end of year. I have no basis for saying this other than thinking thoughts.

Is stacking copper a complete meme?? Or smart?
>>62260684i didn't come here for this and now tearsRIP Brother/Friend, see you on the other side.
>>62261184It's mostly a meme. A case could be made for scrap copper, and hoarding old pennies. But the rounds as pictured in your post are the worst. They usually have something like a 1000% markup on them, as if the people buying them forget that copper spot price is not in ounces but pounds.
>>62260451I just need one more 1/4 coin to have my first 1oz of gold.
>>62261184>Is stacking copper a complete meme?? Or smart?Past tense. It WAS smart. Now everyone thinks it'll go crazy or something, and pay stupid high prices for nice bars. Even crap garage pours fetch a tidy sum. Also the price per pound (value density) is pretty low. You have to aggregate a comically massive stack to make any serious profit. It's a good theft target for tweakers and bongloaders who won't or can't earn enough money to be honest. But if you have a good and consistent source of free scrap or dirt cheap, it can be a fun distraction.
>>62261289Based.One step at a time. We're gonna make it fren.
>>62261295>But if you have a good and consistent source of free scrap or dirt cheap, it can be a fun distraction.Yeah I've started seeing people on TikTok and the like who go searching for scrap wires, will bring them home and strip the copper wires out then bundle and sell them. They do it for a few hours a week and seem to make a decent amount doing it.

>>62262169Yes. Cost of living is insane. We need USD to end and silver and gold to pamp. come on.
>>62262039You're referring to fake numbers and asking for reasons on why they move. The LBMA claimed to have over 100 million ounces in stock when they ran completely dry in August last year and began emergency shipments of less than 200,000 ounces per plane at massive cost to themselves just to keep going.
>>62262264thisthe amount of newbies obsessing over these fake numbers is cute
>>62262332Too many people who haven't even been here a year, I remember during the LBMA default that coin and bullion shops in London were reporting that the LBMA was contacting them and desperately asking to purchase even just 1000 ounces, whilst the LBMA's online database confidently told you how they had hundreds of millions of ounces. Meanwhile anyone attempting to withdraw silver was being put on a waiting list that lead to people selling their place in line for 70 cents on the dollar because no one had any confidence that they'd even be able to provide any silver at all.And no one should ever forget when the LBMA 'overestimated their silver holdings' during the 2021 almost-squeeze by 3300 tonnes (over 120,000,000 ounces or more than the entire COMEX is currently holding) these numbers put out by these organizations are genuinely meaningless and have zero relation to the quantity of silver in the world.
The stack is growing.

>>62262452Since its a slow thread, wheres the chicken meme from?
>>62262683As far as I know it started with picrel floating around on 4chan. Eventually some anons (plual) decided to go wild with it. Chickens are popular among stackers anyway since they're an efficient way to become nutritionally self-sufficient. In general you'll see lots of memes about land and farms and homesteads and the like and it plays into that. There's also a deeper meaning hidden regarding jews and financial tyranny and the chicken sort of symbolizes rebellion against that. The tortured chickens rising up. Also chickens are just cute and funny.
Got 3 fake (magnetic) coins among real ones, I'm getting a refund. But I cannot stop thinking about how this works. Silver is higher in specific gravity than the magnetic metals. Even in this case (a 50% silver coin) I just can't get the math to work out of how a coin could use a reduced amount of silver, increased amount of magnetic metal (nickel included) but still meet the correct size/weight criteria. Basically, how can the use of lower-density magnetic metals not mess up the overall size/weight? I don't get it. Two of the coins are very strongly attracted to the magnet, but what metal would do this while coming out to the correct weight, even in the case of a 50% silver coin?Silver: 10.49, Copper: 8.95, Nickel: 8.9Iron/steel: 7.85Yes, for the sake of discussion I'm assuming there's no tungsten in the low-value coins. And lead isn't magnetic and I understand can't really be used in an alloy like this.
>>62262578>>62262683>>62262452>>62262742it is funny. thanks for the explanation
>>62263067You answered your own question. They use lead and some other silver colored metal.
meh
I think I could honestly start a business minting silver memecoins and selling them on /pmg/.
>>62263174But why add in iron/steel to the lead? Why not just use lead and tin or something cheaper and shinier? Lead isn't magnetic so I don't see why there would be magnetic metals in said coin.
>>62263343Because lead isnt shiny and polished steel is.You're thinking about this too hard.
>>62263067>Basically, how can the use of lower-density magnetic metals not mess up the overall size/weight?They hope the buyer is denser to average out.

Came across something really weird, i'd love an expert's opinion on the matter. It's about picrel : a crown 1696. Clearly looks off since the reverse is a full frappe incuse, and i don't think there are any mention about full brockage reverse on any William III crowns.Initially thought about a badly cast weird fantasy fake, but : coin is indeed sterling silver, ping, dimensions & weight matching a real one, and moreover (and where it's the most curious) : fully matching edge. And it's a pretty complex pattern (incuse marking w/ + • + • DECVS • ET • TVTAMEN ANNO • REGNI • OCTAVO • + • +), who clearly point toward an authentic coin...Pretty lost on this one, any idea?

It "feels" like something might hapoen soon and by that I mean breaking upwards, at least thats what the data suggests. However, I dont understand why we arent seeing more news about these uber low amounts of silver in stock. The demand should cause the price to go up. China is buying as much as they can. But nothing is happening and its a bit confusing. Im good either way as its a long term hold for me, but Id definitely like to understand if theres more to the current prices than merely shenannigans.

>>62264527some zog brained boomers must still buy it cuz muh america or something i guess
>>62264527It all comes back to purchases on credit cards. Some people figured out a long time ago that even with the high markup, they could break even with cashback or frequent flyer miles. Hence the high premiums. You can no longer just make money by exhanging it for other real money.
>>62264534>cuz muh americaWasn't long ago (maybe still is) /pmg/ would advocate quite strongly for buying Eagles of silver or gold because premium would remain and they're more liquid, making them more recognizable and popular. Is the collective /pmg/ changing its mind?

>>62264467>China is buying as much as they canNormies have no idea just how much silver china is very suddenly buying, we were already talking about it last year, yet only in the last 2 months has china suddenly been buying truly gargantuan quantities of silver. I've said it before, they have identified a great weakness in the west, and while they spent 2022-2025 slowly siphoning silver out, I think since the massive price spike and now crash, they've decided its time to engage the full on smash-and-grab and rip out every last ounce whilst the LBMA and COMEX keep the wests population blind until the last second, when they'll suddenly pull the curtains up on empty vaults and reveal that we just lost a war we didn't know we were engaged in.
I just occurred to me that in order for my manifestation of $50 I may have to buy some now, as a sacrifice of sorts
nothing ever happens.

>>62260362>Stack Until The Work Is Done Edition > Speaking of which, did they/them silence our fren, who was Mike Maloney, posting daily until silver reached $1000? I mean, the fundamentals of the unavoidable conclusion to the ineinescapable dilemma haven't changed... Mike Maloney himself has "farmed-out" Gold-Silver is sold to the moneychangers and he's litterally "in-da-woods" The majority of the primary dealers for the FED continue to gobble up metals to tokenize for the sheeple. The political pundits continue to shill for the greatest alliance of violence and force. The technocrats continue to dig deeper and deeper rape tunnels. The ritualistic ones continue to accelerate the chicken waving narratives and false dichotomies of "Works" hint, hint. But seriously, though, what's changed? Not one thing, only the noise to signal ratio increases, along with the manufacturing of currencies.
I've taken a pause on silver investing while I save up for an ounce each of platinum, gold, and palladium.Gotta diversify
