Eurofriend here. I am really curious why more americans don't want to go through the mobile home way. They seem pretty cheap, have decent insulation and can be connected to utilities. You can buy some small plot of land in some shithole state for cheap while not having to deal with such strict urban planning laws, or rent a place in one of those trailer parks. They seem pretty obvious choice for any american striving to achieve FIRE and live rest of their lives as a NEET. Those mobile homes and choices of cheap plots of land are probably one of those few things I actually envy You.
