Has anyone ever actually made money of this board? I see people talking about this being an "insider board" or whatever sometimes but I’ve never really seen something like that
>>62273646>Has anyone ever actually made money of this board?Kek
Yes, I bought ETH at $13 thanks to this board. But I don't think there's been any good money to be made from tips here since the fucking NFT nonsense
>>62273646Not really. The board confirmed/validated trends I already saw in the stock market, so it was helpful. But not in giving me completely new ideas. Lost money in Gorilla Tech and Gauzy.
>>62273646>made moneyYes. Multiple 10x. /biz/ is part of why I spotted the dip in one asset after the October 2023 events before it did a 1000x.>insider boardDisregard claims to fame, hype, etc. /biz/ is simply a place to get leads and then research them carefully before buying. It's the same caution you'd use before buying an expensive device or car.
>>62273756:)
>>62273686Wish I experienced the hay days where shit like that was possible>>62273756Sounds insane which one was it? Never spotted something like that here, any tips on how to cut through the bullshit?
Has anyone ever been as far to decided what were when like?
>>62273773Someone mentioned TOSHI back in August and between factors like it being an early project on the new base network, plus the devs apparently being coinbase employees, some of us thought it had potential. Later, talk about developing utility started up so that it'd no longer be purely running on meme energy. Fast forward to October 7th 2023 and between October 9th-11th it went as low as 0.00000006, at least as far as I saw. Apparently it went as low as vs 0.00000002 but I didn't personally see that. Then over the course of a year or so it rose to 0.002 for about day. That's something I saw, but there's stuff I didn't see. ASTEROID popped off like a month ago or so after sitting at a very ideal price for a few months prior. I'm sure I saw 1 or 2 threads about it but I just didn't put the time into assessing its potential. Imagine if I had. Point is, you never know what you'll find if you put in the time. Granted, many of us only have so much free time.
>>62273646I've never made money but I love to watch the little green bar turn into a little red bar and then back to a little green bar over and over.
This place was probably filled with people shilling and making it off of bitcoin
>>62273859 I’ve never even heard of ASTEROID, wish I would have. Thank you for the answer but how do you differentiate between scams/rugpulls and worthwhile trades with low cap stuff like that?
>>62273867Now it’s full of disgusting Indians like >>62273859and>>62273871
Depends on what you mean by money. How much are we talking. If you mean a million dollars, if you put 30-40k into nvidia in 2022 you'd be a millionaire basically
>>62273878I mean any successful trade where you got the idea from /biz/ counts
>>62273871These days that are a lot more tools available for informing you about stuff like whether a creator can change the contract to prevent selling and other actions. Stuff like Coingecko and other sites often have these warnings. Plus various websites that can kinda check stuff like liquidity and safety concerns by putting the contract in.All that aside, when it was my first week and I went into threads for random topics, or general threads for stuff like stocks, or specific crypto projects that had accumulated huge follows, the #1 advice I got was just to read up on the whitepaper, the roadmap, look at the history of the project or the people involved. Read and try to understand what they're doing and how quickly/slowly they hope to accomplish it.Then there's other stuff like how many major conflicts are going on or are there any that may be about to begin or end? All these can affect how willing people are to take a chance with their spare money. Not all stocks/companies/projects are able to follow through with a plan even if it looks good. This is why the #2 advice was people telling me not to put in what I couldn't afford to lose. Ultimately, you're just taking an educated chance with anything that's not already a bluechip stock that will grow slowly but surely. Does the asset have potential? Are the devs known or "doxxed" as some say? If you've bought the asset already are updates on progress being put out? If a war breaks out were the leaders making good progress until and likely to keep going?Honestly you're making educated guesses since you can't know the future. It's just worthwhile for some because a) a bunch of stuff could barely do anything but a single asset taking off could give them all the money they initially invested and moreb) it's money they would've just spent on dining out, electronics and other luxuriesIn the end only you can decide for yourself whether finding winning assets is worth using your spare cash on.
>>62273646Yes.
>>62274006show the amount faggot
>>62273646The only money I’ve ever made investing I made from advice I received here. I’ve got a GOD AWFUL track record investing in anything anywhere else, doesn’t matter what research I do, unless I’m just buying index funds, whatever I buy without fail, seems to go to shit. So about a year ago, I opened the board, first thread I saw was on XRP, and I started accumulating. I’ve only lost money, but I’ve DCA’d so it only has to break 1.50 for me to turn a profit now, and I’m confident that it will hit 8 dollars during the next bull cycle, and it sees adoption and the schizophrenics like Claver are right, it could hit over 100 before the end of the year. Do I think that’s likely? No not at all, do I think it’s possible? Yeah maybe, who the fuck knows, I’m committed to the bit though, and when I have tens of million dollars I’m gonna pay e girls to eat glass so I can cum
I wouldn't have spent my hard earned real money, which I don't get much of, on internet funny money called bitcoin if it wasn't for this board.Granted I bought in too late and didn't buy enough but I sold last year for a profit.
>>62274320>I’m gonna pay e girls to eat glass so I can cumNo one could ever have predicted this post would end like that
>>62274328>sold last year for a profitGet out of my /biz/, only losers allowed here
>>62273646no. this is a board for lower and lower middle class retards, mentally ill NEETs, and the occasional autistic freak who lucked into a high paying career in tech or something similar.anyone who claims otherwise is lying and larping.
i only ever lose money listening to you retards. this board is mentally ill.
>>62274346This. /biz/ is for shit posting, keks, and racism. But you won’t make any money, at least not short term. Link is a 20 year hold.
intel, mu, amd, nvidia, palantir in the past few yearsbitcoin 15 years ago, not sure if it counts and I don't remember if /biz/ existed back then or if it was just /g/ and then litecoin, doge, eth, digibyte
>>62274345I'm one of those autistic freaks. I have the sickest fetishes imaginable. Don't even try to guess them. You'll fail and if you succeed you'll be disgusted so you're losing no matter what.
>LUvme idhaha luv is in the air i can feel it coming in the air tonight
>>62273646Not since trump got back in office that's for sure
>>62273646>insider boardthe only insider information 4chan has ever gotten is when feds post shit on /pol/
Trump coin was posted here when it was 3.5, made 100k on that.Keeta was also shilled here when it was sub 0.10, but I sold to soon at around 0.22.But now everything is about AI stocks and this board was left behind holding decaying crypto bags instead of making money on AI (myself included)
>>62273646I've been doing my utmost to tell you to buy as much crypto as possible before Summer. You'd be surprised as to the insider information and twin-turbo charged autistic research insights some anons have on this board.
>>62275274I faded trump coin because their liquidity pool is unlocked I thought we were about to witness the first presidential rugpull. Didn’t even hear about that Keeta one idk what it is. My problem is that I don’t know how do differentiate between dogshit and good trades that get posted here when it comes to these smaller projects. Those posts have definitely gotten rarer in general though, I can’t stand seeing the same cultist chainlink posts over and over again >>62275305Summers are historically pretty bad performing periods for crypto no? Seems more likely to me that’s the bottom than anything else
>>62274616it's child pornography, isn't it?
>>62276233>Summers are historically pretty badThat is correct. Also, most of retail has sold because they believe the bottom is in October. What happens when trillions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies are purchased over the counter and appear on historically low reserve CEX order books within the span of a few days? You'll see how this plays out soon.
>>62273646>has anyone made money?I'm still down because of investing around 2012-2014, but I just started investing again a week ago and I'm up $1500
>>62277519why would otc crypto buys presumably meant as investments appear on order books as what you imply sell side liquidity? if anything the purchasers ould use these otc bought assets as margin for leveraged longs
>>62277621These sellers will buy from centralized exchanges at a coordinated date. For reasons I don't fully understand, it's more profitable in the long run for these OTC sellers to take the slippage hit.
>>62273646i did, but most people here are just there to shill for their favorite leftoidisms and it people fall for it since they are biased as such they just lose.
>>62273646An anon said to buy novonordisk. I didn't really trust him but options ate shit 2 days after that and I boughted, made like $2k from november to january.
>>62273646Someone in /biz/ DID tell me to go into micron..I should have listened..
>>62273646The guy who sticked a sharpie up his butthole made a little money out of this board
Those "you only have one job, to buy bitcoin and hold" posts helped make me a bitcoin maxi and yes I did make money.
>>62273646RLC 2021 Day of the Barrel
>3 weeks ago>some fag was talking big about how gold was going back to 6300>buy miners right now!>briefly up, now downThe problem I've found is that 5 years ago a lot of posters were people who actually knew half of what they were talking about, and now they're just baggies.Actually this is a good rule of thumb, now that I think of it, but anything being shilled to you that currently has baggies is going to be a bad investment even if it goes up because baggies will constantly give you false starts or bad info because they're hoping to start a rally themselves.
>>62273646No this board made me a chainlink bagholder I havent made money in 5 years. You stupid dysgenic neet faggots said it was going to $1000. I always thought 4chan had all the internets smartest INTJ gigabrains but its all just losers with the bad kind of autism.
>>62273646Idk I get disgusted with this board. People respond-ask to the stupidest people with the stupidest questions. I saw a guy saying "if you want to make money in the stock market you gotta follow the trends - buy when they're hot and sell before they're not" and someone actually responded to him asking where he can find a "place to monitor stocks to find the next trend". What do you even do in a place with that low level of discussion? The people here aren't even learned on the subject enough to have a sense of humor about it, so there isn't even any funny shitposting. It says a lot when the most popular threads are the gamestop cultists and precious metal tards.
>>62282688So you have the answers, right? Please elevate the discussion. Where do I look to find what the next trend is going to be.
>>62273646 since 2017 I've roundtripped a few 100x's and dozens of 10x's
>>62282700Exactly what I'm talking about. You should kill yourself for being a stupid faggot with no sense of humor.
>>62282706Insightful and hilarious commentary, Mark. So then what are some good materials to study if I want to learn more about the energy market?
>>62282709Man this rly all u got goin on huh? See, there's nothing I can say 2 u bc ur so bad at conversation. If u want people to engage u u gotta be interesting. To be interesting u gotta have something going on. Later dude.
>>62273646I made a lot of money here in 2021 when you could just refresh the catalog and there would be ten new shitcoins. Half of them would rug, but the other half would do 10x, 100x or even 1000x to more than make up for it. Of course, I ended up blowing it all by reinvesting it into alts.
>>62282720lmao run away like a pussy when pressed to say literally anything substantial at all.
>>62273646I haven't followed anyone's advice here and was also bad at stocks but I turned $250 into $20,000 on prediction markets which is pretty extreme as a rate of return. I was surprised to be honest. Problem is turning $20k into more than that.
