what part of the country? this has to be west coast or east coast... no way anyone is complaining about that rate in the great states of the south.

That's how much I make but I live in Texas so it rocks.

I hate this gay country and our kike loving president, but at least I'll live in a particularly cheap part of the country (I guess)

I make $45.79/hr at 28, but I live with my parents.
>>
>>62282210
so? I make 18/hr, boss is a bitch, I get to sit for 8 hours often enough, travel is at most 17mins, i get my steps in while being a wagie that way.... man I need to get myself out of debt soon.. get certs and fuck all else. biggest plus is i don't have to provide any kind of customer service.

Cucknada. My old job did use to pay $22.60 usd per hour which I thought was pretty comfortable (even managed to save $10k usd per year and go on vacations a couple times per year) but then I got laid off back in 2025. Now I can't find a similar pay and there's barely any jobs now for my field as everything has just been taken over by jeets
>>
>>62282221
the difference in jeets between pre-covid and now is insane. can't imagine what it's like up there
>>
>30 yrs old
>$16/hr fastfood wagie
But I like this job a million times better than my prior office-cucking for $80k salary or even WFH-fagging and seeing nobody ever. Most of my human connection needs are getting hit, whereas none were before.
>>
>>62282247
are u just trolling? how the hell do u enjoy a mcwage job paying u shit over a 80k a year WFH job

I'm in Florida

Because I get to interact with people every day instead of being chained to my computer literally living at my job.

third worlder here, I make $8/h at 26 as an EE

28/hr is good at 25 yrs old. Express interest in moving up to your supervisor and have a clear path to keep moving up in the next few years or be looking for other opportunities for large $ increase by changing jobs. Really blows my mind when I look at resumes of guys that worked at Home Depot for 15 years.
>>
I make $91/hr as a gov wagie at 40 yo, also get gibs from the VA 1800/mo tax free

I made minimum wage at 25 before getting a new job at 10.69. I now make 90/hr at 38.

I never went to college for 3 reasons:

#1. I grew up in a working-poor household, so my parents made just enough to not qualify for welfare, which means they couldn't afford anything. Never had health insurance, never went on vacation, never been to a sports sportsball game, etc. This also meant I didn't qualify for any college grants, even though I graduated at number 13 out of 97 students, with Honor Roll, was accepted into The National Honor Society and played baseball for 13 years with a .350 batting average in high-school.

#2. My parents told me it was a scam, so I never took the SAT to get into college in the first place.

#3. I already started working at 14 years old and had a job for 3 years. The first thing I did when graduating was buy a car and get a factory job 15 minutes away.

#4. I really didn't know what I wanted to do. Originally I wanted to be an Astronomer, but ended up liking Economics and Finance in my early/mid 20s. Which is a massive shift. Going into debt for a degree in science, just to want to be a "finance bro" later would've been bad.

The weird thing is, I took a few real IQ tests and scored 122 on average. I'm now 32 years old and have a $500k networth, without owning real estate, just from working a basic wagie job.
>>
>>62282132
I make 12€/hr at 34yo and my employer doesn't want to see me more than twice a week so I only make a bit over 200€/week
>>
>not making variable comp
>not even making salary

do goyim really?
>>
>>62282741
So you've basically just been saving your money? Or do you have any investments that grew into that $500K?
>>
>>62283014
It's mostly invested in mutual funds across 4 separate accounts. I also have some emergency fund cash and HSA cash if something terrible happens medically.

It was a lot of grinding combined with living frugally. I actually didn't start investing until I was 25, because my parents raised me telling me investing and 401ks were also scams (especially because 2008 destroyed my father's savings and he never recovered because instead of staying in the market, he just dumped everything and never invested again). So, I just had a lot of cash saved up. When I started studying economics and finance I realized my parents were wrong and started massively DCAing into a range of different mutual funds and massively contributing to a 401k.
>>
>>62282149
I was making 13.50 at 25 in 1998 was considered pretty good. Worked in a warehouse where we actually only had maybe 4 hours of work and we spent the other 4 hours racing pallet jacks with each other.

He would have made it before marry and having kids. Therefore you have full power and control.
You honestly think with female nature and the terrible economy, your wife respects you?
>>
>>62284236
You are dealing in the real world. Poor, no margin for error, kids will be working class, wife knows youre low status but if she is nice, she will just play dutiful wife and suck it up and stick with you.
Don’t worry, 90% of people are like you.

Im gatekeeping it, you can do it 1 year technically degree, at my peak rate its almost 28k a month (something pathetic like 18k after taxes)
>>
>>62282132
Good. With that you can save enough to buy a pressure washer, start your own business, and then from there go to coding school.
>>
>>62286818
>i'm gatekeeping it
Does limiting your fellow anons' success really help you in any way? Like is it a job where if a couple anons joined the field your pay would go down or you could be laid off? Only way that's understandable to me.
Or maybe it doxxes you?
Is it comfy at least? WFH?
>>
>>62282429
yep 70%, I've got an intent to file from December (they backpay you) to claim a few additional conditions, chatgpt can do the whole claim for you, maybe I will get to 80 or 90
>>62282471
I'm a non-supervisory gs15 reviewing dept budget and programs
>>
>>62282227
It is an apocalyptic shit storm. Every company hires meets because the government pays half their wage via our tax dollars
>>
>>62286846
>gs15
Holy comfy, your job sounds comfy as well. Is it hard to work your way up? Can i ask at what gs you entered at and how long it took to reach 15 (as long as it doesn't doxx you)?
>>
>>62286856
I entered as a gs11 in 2020 as an engineering specialist, worked three years then left for private sector for a year and came back to the same org but negotiated higher gs pay, idk I just push for higher pay every year and give them a reason why, I never complain, just show up on time, and thats it, if you have a stem degree there are tons of gs9-13 auto promotion ladders, usually they promote you from gs 9 to 11 then to 12 and 13 every year, being a veteran helped a little but most new hires are non-veterans
>>
im 39 and my salary is $50k flat
>>
>>62282132
Get to work tonight Cade
>>
$42 an hour + $4 night shift differential + $3 weekend shift diff = $49.
I’m a RN but working around bitchy women all the time is horrendous. That’s in Tennessee, I’d be making $70 if I were in some blue state shithole. I wish I could smoke weed but I can’t, been learning to appreciate good pour over coffee instead.
>>
>>62282132
I made $28k in gainz with my stock portfolio today.
>>
>>62282178
Why do I feel like I've seen this haircut before but on something that was really really really gay?
>>
>>62282132
LMAO my 14 year old daughter makes more than that babysitting kids of neighbors and family friends. Pretty standard $50 an hour, they usually Uber her out and back home too.
>>
>>62286890
Hmm yeah I've seen that, but I've also seen that going above gs12 requires management experience and executive skills, and I heard it was hard to break through. How did you make the jump from 12 to 13 and beyond?
>>
>>62286951
Do you live in beverly hills or what anon
>>
>>62286837
There just isnt a lot of us and I got recognized once and it was super cringe
>>
>>62287102
key is to work at a HQ org with grade inflation, field offices etc have limited jobs at higher grades, DC is good if you can keep COL low, everyone knows GS13 is bare minimum to live without a roommate in the beltway, so asking for annual "quality step increase" or grade promotion is not a big deal as long as you're doing your job
>>
>>62282254
The answer is young women.
