Is making furry porn a good source of income
You get monthly subscribers who pay for exclusive content + people who will commission you + money from social media paying you

I thought of doing it but I honestly think AI porn has destroyed its profitability. Averi porn art would be legendary though

LLMs could never have generated Averi. Which is where the value is. People want that fox specifically. They want their OCs

Porn is not going to make anyone much money. There is a saturation of free material and regulation is targeting payment systems and providers with age verification

And it's just as bad in Australia and multiple US states,

we have crypto and p2p systems now who cares about these stupid "laws"

It's difficult without already having connections. You're a stranger trying to penetrate a cult. A new dealer for addicts who already have a dealer. It's more involved than just uploading art and receiving a paycheck. Your buyers expect you to form a parasocial relationship and will subject you to purity tests.

It's not worth the psychological damage of dealing with other furries imo.

I wouldn't try to get into that market anymore, unless you're already a well know top tier artist. AI is just too good and extremely accessible. Artists that have already been doing it for years and are really talented will likely be able to keep a big enough fanbase to continue funding their work but its a shirking market.
And if your plan is to use AI to create content to sell then good luck because people aren't likely to shell out for something they could gen themselves or get elsewhere cheaper.

I don't know what Averi is but you can gen just about anything if you have a good setup and prompt correctly.
>People want that fox specifically.
Its fairly easy to make a LORA for a specific character or even a particular artists style and then replicate it consistently.

The furry community is much less accepting of ai than other communities. Furry porn artists are still widely popular and there are still commissions. Even so, ai just can't get as specific as someone commissioning an artwork, like if they want their fursona with only a ref sheet to base off of doing something.
The thing with ai is that it's really good at getting anime characters right consistently but struggles a lot more with furries. Like 90% of anime and anime artists share the same style while there's not really a monolithic "furry" style, I guess the equivalent would just be seeing someone put humanlike eyes on an animal. Anime characters are also much more consistent, if you're generating porn all you need to do is change the character's eye color and hair style/color and now it's someone completely different. Furries have much more variety between species, style, and color. The furry community has also always been much more artist-focused, commissioning and OCs have always been much more fundamental to it. The person who is willing to spend hundreds commissioning their favorite artist to have their fursona fuck Diane Foxington probably won't be satisfied just using ai
Of course ai will only improve, but we'll have to see by how much. As of now I didn't think ai is a reasonable replacement to artists, especially furry artists.

I don't entirely disagree with your post but like I said its a shrinking market and remember AI is generally speaking never going to be worse than it is right now at creating images.

Thats why I said if you're already an established artist then you will likely be fine but if you're thinking about just now getting into this market its a terrible idea. Becoming a good artist takes dedication and years of grinding. Almost anything else you do will be a more productive use of time if money is your main concern. Most artists never become successful enough to make a living you have to be in it for the love of the game and if you make any money thats just a silver lining.

This is a tired and exhausted avenue of newfags falling for le drawing for the furry fandom for easy cash it's a meme and the equivalent of raiding a KOL in the hopes your shitter will gain volume. The answer is no, even back around 2015 it was extremely unlikely due to how saturated and overwhelming the competition was I can't even begin to imagine how it is like today but you can bet it's as cut throat as ever. You'd have better odds of deploying a shitter and earning creator fees than shilling your art like a shitcoin and pandering to the flavor of the month.
