But as far as I understand the system they would never let the entire market fail because that would leave all the billionaires bagholding as well. Instead, I assume, the only logical consequence in the long run is hyperinflation.
Any thoughts/different opinions on that?

Regretting not cashing out another 401k will be a good problem to have in the future.
A 401k is still gambling. It's your fiat $ and your employers fiat $ propping up more people's fiat $ in hope that it can keep the fiat $ system going and going and going...
All fiat currencies always fail.

why is that?

I prefer the color of gold, the density of gold, the luster of gold, and the fact that gold never tarnishes or corrodes. Also the value. I always saw silver as a very distant 10th place behind gold in value. Little better than bismuth or mercury.

Alright, fuck pandas. Straight up, fuck em’. All of the pandas problems arise from their diet. Hear me out now. They have flat teeth designed for chewing bamboo (yeah they have 4 sharp k9’s, but who doesn’t) and because they specialized in these teeth, they can’t eat anything other than bamboo. But guess what!? You can’t possible get all of your necessary nutrition from one type of bamboo.

So pandas eat all the Wood bamboo that grow on the lower part of the mountains. In the summer, all the Wood Bamboo dries up. They then have to move up the mountain to eat Arrow bamboo that only grows at higher elevations (they need both types to meet all their nutritional needs). Now these two types of bamboo shoots provide Pandas with Nitrogen and Phosphorus, but they haven’t gotten any of the calcium they need.

So then these fuckers have to wait for the Arrow Bamboo to sprout leaves so they can get calcium. The fat nuggets of printer ink have to eat 1/4 of their body weigh in fucking bamboo every single day. And, and, they shit a whopping 40 times a day. 40. That’s a crime against nature if you ask me. So you’re thinking, well that’s not so bad, just a little hiking in the summer. Well guess what? This shit doesn’t work in the winter so as a result half, HALF of all panda deaths occur in the winter.
>>
File: 1740264817056166.png (2.65 MB, 1867x1227)
2.65 MB PNG
>>62290824
>>62291271
So you’re thinking “okay well if enough pandas get pregnant then the population should sustain itself.” Wrong. Pandas mate in the spring, but what do they need to survive (and carry a pregnancy)? YOU FUCKING GUESS IT: ARROW BAMBOO LEAVES. Which only sprout in the summer. So IF the pandas make it through the winter, and IF they get to mate in spring, and IF they do it at the right time and IF the female gets pregnant, then she can’t carry the pregnancy until summer.

So basically the sperm freeze in place like a bad game of Green Light Red Light, and wait until summer to fertilize the egg. Effectively pausing the pregnancy until the female starts getting calcium from the arrow leaves.

The US alone has spent billions on these forgotten dirty dishes. And to top it all off, every single panda in the world is owned by China and the Chinese government basically rents them all out.

Extra fuckery: although they eat ONLY bamboo, they have the digestive tracks of carnivores. Pandas also have disproportionately small penises (Jesus Christ why are we even trying anymore). God also gave these walking trash bags of universal matter opposable thumbs, what a waste.

So if after all this you still like pandas, you’re not only stupid, you’re also a communist.

I invested in both. Not even a diabolical action. I knew they would either fold or pump my bags at the same time I sell some of my silver. Bonus if they pump my bags first to starve off folding for a few years. Which I know these double down dipshits would do. Yeah I knew this would take many years while there is likely hyper inflation so the PMs are a hedge against that. Also if they have a temper tantrum and get their buddies to help crash the stock market on the way out.

Yes I did sell some while it was over $80. Would have sold at $120 but I was busy doing an off the top sale of the mining stocks instead of looking for a buyer. Oh well the local bullion dealer who bought it didn't get ripped off and was able to sell it right away at the now stable price of $75 to new stackers. Maybe it was for the best.

That is what happens when the price goes up and down so suddenly and can be rug pulled violently at any time. Lots of them with little or no connection to Comex don't have a say in this they have to cuck and charge a large spot price fee. They will ask for less than what it is worth when you sell because of the risk. That is just how it is. It takes time for a stable price to lower the spot price. They will also be willing to pay more for what you sell when they don't have to worry so much about price fluctuations.

We got them to up the price of silver closer to its real value. Better than the cucked $20 for so many years. Wait for the spot price to go down before doing big buys again. In the mean time buy an ounce here and there once in a while to keep the price up. I bought an ounce of vintage silver from the 70's when it dipped to $71 recently. First time since it skyrocketed. I had not bought any in 2025. That was all real depletion being reported/lack of silver being sold to Comex vaults causing it.

The secret for everyone to all have affordable cell phones is to not build so many goddamn datacenters to spy on everyone/make AI slop. This is one is the reasons why I support hoarding silver. You'd have to have been here for a few years to get them as they came out. Now you have to find them second-hand.
>>
>>62292316
Years ago we were talking about also buying mining stocks on PMG to hege any action. against COMEX including buying futures. But buying futures became dumb at the start of 2026 because they openly flaunted that they can print more and devalue the contracts. If anyone didn't get out and use it to exchange for physical before then you got screwed. It was always kind of a dumb move but it became outright retarded.

Miners demanded more money for what they were doing because there weren't enough refineries. This forced them to accept to keep the price at $75. JD Vance openly announced this is what the government was making them do to stabilize the price to allow an increase in production. So there was that in investing in mining companies. Lots of startups were able to make it. We can force them to go higher again. They suppressed the price for so long that they made it so most mines could no longer be profitable. It will take decades to restock their vaults. Especially with the amount of silver production needed to catch up. But the industrial use and bullion mints will offer more money than what Comex offers. So we can still deplete Comex. Just at a slower pace. Every few years they will have to force a price correction yet again until Comex goes bankrupt. Make money off of mining stocks. Buy silver with it.

Notice that silver used to be $8 then after 2011 it was rarely under $20? That was the first silver squeeze since the 80's.
>>
>>62292297
Yeah people were talking about how crypto was a psyop to stop people from buying real gold since it was created. PMs and stocks are about to get pumped. Even if you haven't done anything to piss off the US government yet lots of other investors will have reason to pull out first. Those good goy types will see their value plummet and want out.

I think I'm going to save up some emergency cash, but then what...
No other investment speaks to me the way precious metals did.
>>

I keep telling people to diversify their investments but nobody really listens here. I have a 401k, an IRA i just toss money in for tax purposes, 2 stock portfolios (1 safe 1 risky), and 25 ounces of stackable silver.
I even have a CD of about 50k just sitting there in case I REALLY need it.

You basically have no silver as far as I'm concerned.

My stance is to have enough cash (in checking or savings) to cover at least 3 months' salary. This should take care of most emergencies. Six is better.
If you can continue to save after that, then you have investment wealth that you can use on PMs or whatever. It sounds like maybe you're going backwards, (PMs first), but you're somewhat lucky that you haven't had emergency expenses. I've seen at least three Anons here who've had to rush sell their meager stacks because they had no cash left.
Survival first.
>>
>>62292507
Accumulate your savings account. That is what I did for 3 years after buying my stack. Then boom it spiked up to 120 and I didn't notice until everyone was talking about it. I wasn't paying attention to the stock market for a year either. I made my big investments years ago and waited for that moment. Now I got my emergency expenses piled up AND some PM and stock market money from the little bit I sold. Then when there was that little panic Iran dip I bought a little more in both. Probably going to a few repair projects with that money and buy an ounce of silver here and there every few months.

Coins are my preference, and only limited-mintage ones at at that. I rarely buy a stack of any ho-hum coins.

>Are you one of those guys that owns 50 dozen 1 gram gold bars?
As a lark I once bought 60 1-gram rounds to fill a tiny treasure chest for a yo-ho-go chuckle. Also a bunch of different tiny things to learn what they're like, but certainly not with intent to stack.

If you own 500 ounces of silver you might as well just own 9 ounces of gold. Easier to hide it locked away. It is the small stackers who invest more in silver because it is cheaper. I got 50 ounces of silver and fractions of ounces of gold. Silver was always assumed to be for pleb stackers. I would not get 500 oz unless I were rich or really had it out to take a stab at Comex. I did my part with what I could afford that wasn't too risky. I was too poor to buy 500 ounces in 5 years even if I risked it all. Maybe if I started 20 years ago I could have. I really wished I knew.

Big numbers like that are what it takes to really take advantage of the gains.

I like silver because I can get more metal for my money. The value density of gold is out of whack.
A big investment of silver fits inside a shoebox and feels right.

And that doesn't even consider things like availability and utility.

I bought both but invested more in silver. Because that was the winner and because my relatives nagged me to also get some gold. They were skeptics until they saw that silver tripled but gold only doubled. I do not own a full ounce of gold. But whatever I am happy with the price increase and do not need as much storage space. I would have needed to buy 4 10oz silver bars at the time for the amount of gold I bought. And I didn't have my heart set on that many silver bars at the time. My favorite silver bar.
>>
Knowing myself. If I hadn't bought those 2 fraction pieces of gold at the time I would have gone nuts and bought this silly thing with that money instead. An art piece where a lot of the money went into the sculpting instead of something close to the actual price of silver. Not so good for an emergency situation where the buyer just wants to melt it down. Glad I just went with a 1/4 gold eagle and a little 10g Pamp bar.

Triceratops is a genus of chasmosaurine ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the late Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous period, about 68 to 66 million years ago on the island continent of Laramidia, now forming western North America. It was one of the last-known non-avian dinosaurs and lived until the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event 66 million years ago.

I sold a 10oz silver bar back in February when it was at $83 dollars an ounce. My local bullion dealer offered me $784. He was fair but firm and would not let me try to haggle up to $800 for it. I was willing to sell a little under from the start because I knew of the sudden rug pulls he was clearly anxious over the phone when I made an appointment. An hour after I sold it to him they rugged it again down to $72. He clearly knew what he was doing when he gave the offer and knew what to expect from J-street shenanigans. Fortunately for him it went up to $78 2 days later plus he had the spot price to make money off of.

If there are violent rug pulls the spot price goes up and can stay at crazy percentages for months if not years. That is how dirty Comex is. It absolutely screws over local businesses trying to sell this. Who are also likely to be your main buyers. I imagine that it is worse selling it back to big online sellers where they do the appraisal after the sell without you in the room. Neither do I trust ebay 100% of the time and consider it to be a risk for both the buying and selling end with people I do not know and are hard to track any may weasel their way out of paying you in one way or another.

Are you buying or selling? Your picture shows sell vs buy spread which is 10%? If you're buying shouldn't you be looking at spot vs their price spread? Which is closer to 6%? My dealer is selling around 4% spread on newer bullion and buys at 95-99% of spot. Find a new dealer if your numbers aren't comparable.

you're better off boiling water. And maybe dropping a tiny piece of silver into the tank afterwards if you plan on storing it.

How to start a gold stack? I think fractional gold might be the best start

Shills and newbies complain about the what they have to buy and sell for. Forgetting that this is a long-term investment and a hedge against inflation or currency collapse. Not a get rich quick scheme. Also it is a giant middle finger to Comex. Yes you will usually break even after 10 years adjusted for inflation. But it is better than a bank account which can be frozen if you piss off the government or the bank. It is the only thing that they can't lock out out of at the push of a button.

Also thanks for the advice. Looks like that 6% under was fair. You are really lucky to have a dealer who buys at under 4%. This is what I was telling people to wait a while before they do any large purchases again. It will take awhile for the spot premiums to lower. It has to stabilize at $75 dollars for like a year to get down to normal.

I enjoy large and small gold, and variety. When buying fractional I alternate between old lmu like 1 Ducat and new 9999 fine 1/10 gold. Sometimes a bar us nice too:)

I'd add you probably don't want to go under a 2 or 2.5gram bar. 1/10 are already tiny but kinda fun as you get variety for 500 ish a piece. Imo at 10 gram bars and 1/2 oz coins you really start to feel the weight, of course now you're locking up quite a bit of change into one item.
Hope this helps and enjoy:)
