Low 7 fig hell is real. Not enough to quit waging, yet people think you’re rich and shouldn’t complain. If I lose my job next week I’ll be blowing 7k a month to pay for my family’s expenses and this little $1.2 mil stack will evaporate very quickly
>>
why does your family needs 7k a month to live?

dont tell me you still have a mortgage disgusting slave
>>
>>62295821
you go on unemployment if you lose your job dipshit.
>>
>>62295821
>I’ll be blowing 7k a month to pay for my family’s expenses
7k is like a daily expected value swing for you at 1.2m
>>
>>62295821
>7k a month
downsize and lose the mortgage.
used cars, bro.

literally nobody gives a shit about your performative possessions.

Not OP but I'm in almost the same boat. Live in a very low COL area and am paying about the same. Mortgage is only 1/10th of that. Granted probably about 2k/month is for fun. Between insurance, taxes, gas, groceries, utilities, lawn care, food/diapers/daycare costs, it adds up. The thing most people get wrong (especially those viral monthly budget tweets or news segments) is they ignore non-monthly costs. I didn't even realize it until I started tracking every expense in Excel and calculating total annual expenses divided monthly. One year it's a furnace repair, next is AC, then a car repair, then factor in your annual vacations, on and on.

Start tracking your expenses and you'll notice you spend more than you think (assuming you're not a bachelor subsisting on frozen pizzas and a WiFi connection).

How are you spending 7k a month?

Shouldnt have kids if you cant afford it if thats what taking it up but you're in that hole deep now, If thats the case, So you're kinda fucked, but honestly just put it into tbills and then slurp the dip when the AI tech bubble market crashes then buy the dip in 25% increments of your money.

If the stock market goes down 15% put 250k, if it goes down another 10% put another 250k, another 15% 500k

If the house is too expensive as a single man, sell it.

Me? I need maybe $800 a month at most. Theres apartments in the midwest in america for $500-600. I could sell my house completely paid off, move there, instantly cut my expense by $800 and I can be setup in 3 days. eas

If I lose my job, health insurance for a family of four is $2-3k a month
>>
That's plenty of money. All that proves is that you're racket adjacent, or run of the mill intelligent and have benefitted from being in a privileged country/zip code. But it also suggests you're not currently running any racket or have come across the insights on how to do so. Relax, sweat shop workers make $2 a day. You're seeking humble brag attention, and polite stfu moments. So, yes, we kinda get it and your plight, but again go to hell and stfu :)

Inflation will evaporate this in ten years. Get back in the cagie, wagie.
>>
>>62296106
people who don’t acknowledge those costs are insane. which includes like half of FIRE people. they all earn enough money to “retire” exactly at the time in life when your chances of getting cancer skyrocket.

>>62295821
i would dca into mstr or something fvg filled

That's 14 years. It's not very quickly. Surely you will figure something out in 14 years? Or, like, manage to cut your expenses and stretch it to 30 years? Surely you will figure SOMETHING out in 30 years?
>>
>>62296191
maybe over the next year now that i look at the chart 7 figure hell sucks ive been there
>>
>>62296186
>>62296200
Or like put it in something inflation resistant? (literally anything but cash)
Even if you put it entirely in bonds and you'll still at least match inflation.
>>
>>62296176
>why yes I am indian, how could you tell?
>>
>>62295821
i support my family on 2k a month and havn't worked in ten years (or ever really lol), who's richer?
>>
>>62296522
the only thing he was missing was saying “your sister does OF and earn 2 lakh per annum”
>>
>>62295821
if you knew a massive market correction was coming and you had an opportunity to park 1.23 million in 30 year bonds yielding ~5% yearly interest that would generate $61k of guaranteed income for the next 30 years.... please explain to me why you wouldn't simply offload all the risk of taking degenerate bets on that 5% yield instead of risking the entirety of your portfolio for a correction that could take your 1.23 down to sub 700k.
>>
give it to chainlink, they need it to pay people to sit at home and do nothing
>>
>>62296548
I’m sure the same reason a lot of us don’t do it, because we don’t want to take the tax hit. assuming they’re long term cap gains, he would pay almost 24% on the gains, then whatever state and local tax on top of it.

Tax, a tool from the top dogs to turn you into a bagholder while they can dump everything tax-free (because they own their shares through custom investment funds, tax-exempt holding companies, offshore trusts or foundations...)

I'm getting redpilled rn. The elites transfer wealth around at zero cost and can legally kill you or use you for wageslavery and wars. Based. Feeling jewish rn.

Be grateful, I used to have what you have now I’m back to 6 figs. I’ve gone from 6 to 7 figs and back 3-4 times now. And my col is also 70-80k a year.
>>
im aiming for 3M. i got the 5x to 1M.... now i just need a 3x.
>>
>>62295836
"Need"

Poorfags always talk about what someone needs, like the poorfag needs burritos delivered or sleeve of tattoos or the pickup truck.

Lmao I pay the nanny and the housekeeper and that's over 7k a month
>>
>>62296620
Cant we so this too? If so, how?
>>
>>62295821
Correct. $1.2MM is bare lifesupport for not working as a poorfag. Really you want to get to $10MM+ to have an indefinite comfortable lifestyle. $100MM+ gets you into real extravagance, private jet, multiple estates, virtually any ordinary good without blinking.
>>
About the same worth but I can't touch like half of it until 59.5 or later (HSA and IRA).

No dependents and if I lose the comfy job I have now I will consider living out of a backpack travelling turbo cheap. Bananamaxxxing.
>>
>>62296664
Getting past 1.5mil is the hardest part
>>
OP wtf are you doing just buy some cash flowing real estate as income to live on and leave 500k in the stock market work for you.
