100% of the posters in this thread so far didn't acknowledge this, which proves his point that the headline will cause a lot of anti-BTC celebrations, so it is better to get the headline out of the way when the time is right.

Company officials already stated many months ago that they might sell BTC if it is considered helpful. For example, if the company's common stock is severely undervalued, trading some of its BTC for stock is probably a good deal.

The idea that the company cannot ever possibly sell any BTC was always absurd (Saylor's early statements on this probably didn't help), and they're right to start breaking this imagined taboo because people (like the posters here) only read the headlines.
