Do you guys have any interview tips and tricks to tell me? I have multiple interviews scheduled coming up and I have no clue how to prepare.
>>62301732Research the company beforehand.Figure out questions to ask, questions to which you actually want to know the answer to. You most likely will come to ask yourself those questions while in the research phase. Don't try too hard to answer them by yourself, just jot them down.Drink a glass of milk about 30 min before each interview.GL.
>>62301732Have sex with a cheap prostitute beforehand, or two at the same time if you can
>>62301732Just try to be like able sometimes people don't hire the most qualified but someone who has the best "vibes"
practice interviews with a friend or family member, or even in front of a mirror by yourself if it's a decent size company you are interviewing for there are websites like glassdoor and others where people leave reviews for companies they worked at or interviewed for, and a lot of the times they give information on how the interview was structured or even specific questions they were askedrehearse a few answers for some bullshit questions ("what was one time you failed at something and how did you overcome it?" "why do you want to work for X company?" "What are some of your interests outside of work?" etc.) that you'll probably be asked. Practice in front of a mirror until your responses feels natural. You'll probably be a bit nervous during the actual interview so nailing it down beforehand to the point where it's automatic without being straight up robotic. It's good to have a couple stories just memorized that you can rattle off.if it's a technical interview you'll probably be asked at least a couple questions where you just straight up don't know the answer. That's okay as long as you don't sperg out, try to be loose and affable ex. "wow, that's a tough one, I can't recall off the top of my head but I remember learning about it in ______, I'm sure if I had a quick refresher it would all come back to me"if you want to get super meta and kiss ass about it you can look up the interviewer or manager online on linkedin or other social media and get a sense of their interests, hobbies, etc. maybe a blog post they reposted or an award they recently got. During the interview find a way to work it in without being autistic about it "hey mr. X, I was just scrolling on linkedin looking up some of the directors at Y company before this and I saw you just bought a new E class, man my uncle just got one of those last year great car" only do this if you're actually into cars or whatever the fuck it may be and then you can shoot the shit with the interviewer about it
I've had like 40 interviews for various fields and still haven't been hired. Granted my CV is 75% fabricated but I've gotten roles before via temp agencies (no formal interview) and I've done very well. Interviews are the modern equivalent of the pillory, or the rack.
Don’t drink coffee before hand, your body will pump enough adrenaline to be wired…answer questions like your grandmother would answer them…try and act like a normal person that won’t make waves (easy to work with), you just want to “tow the company line”
>>62301732talk like ben shapiro the whole interview that's what i did
Don't lie. If you are asked if you know how to do something you don't then say as much.Say you want to find a career and a place to stay at for the long term.Say you're willing to start from the bottom, but ask if there are any trainings offered to move up to other positions, you always want to learn more and work your way up.Main thing don't lie on your resume that you didn't do enough basic research to answer questions about. If I ask you a question and see that you like 9/10 people have AI generated BS on their resume you cannot answer questions about it is an immediate do not hire.

>>62301732Hiring mangers like to hear when you read the company's prospectus and mention your positive outlook for the growth of the company based on something they are currently doing or aiming to develop. They might talk about how someone running a plant has been there for 40 years and has overseen the development of the equipment currently in operation. You would talk about how you value a company that creates an environment for long-term personal growth specifically referencing that individual's name and time at the company. They might say that they are planning to develop a new ammonia facility and you would talk about your positive outlook for their growth as a company and how smart they are for taking advantage of a particular section of the market while referencing that specific plan to build an ammonia facility in xyz city.
