What is the recommended strategy for buying Bitcoin if I can't predict if it will go up or down? Was the prevailing sentiment that it will always go up long term, so only buy and never sell? Is this still the prevailing sentiment?
"Dollar Cost Averaging" is the term you’re looking for, though for an asset that you strongly expect to go up (not really what happens for Bitcoin these days), you should obviously just frontload as much as possible.
>>62302419>Dollar Cost AveragingThanks bro. Do you have a formula or chart that you use for how much to buy?
>>62302427That's just throwing yhe dame amount of USD i to BTC ebery months or however often you buy. Look into value cost averaging if you want to tune it up a bit. Also wait until microstrategy is done dumping for the next quarter

You do know she's a queen of anal, right?
>>62302415Learn more about it. It's not that hard to predict. Learn about the 4 years cycle. Have a look at the chart and figure out where we are in the cycle. If you still have doubts, just ask some AI. Bitcoin is currently on it's bear phase and it's likely to only peak again in 2029. Maybe earlier if we're lucky.
>Micro Tragedywhen he start dumping btc goes to zero !!
>>62302415The prevailing sentiment has always been that it protects you from fiat currency debasement, just like gold. Except in the case of future societal unrest where you might need to relocate with your money without getting robbed, you can't store a billion dollars worth of gold up your ass, but you can with Bitcoin
>>62302703I am *not* storing crypto up my ass.
>>62302607>queen of analIt’s a jew so, yea, probably
>>62302415Anon just use the greed and fear indicator, buy when is redSell when is greenRepeat There's is a lot of different strategies, but this is gonna make you sleep better at night Never buy in neutral, or greed
