you silly basterds think btc is down because of saylor man
wait until normcattle hear about quantum fud on steroids

>Google cracked Shor's algorithm for secp256k1 (the curve securing btc keys)
>hid the details behind a ZK proof at US government request
>a french reverse-engineered it in two months

also, he reverse-engineered it 10% better
and vibeGODS are VIBING it even better now
it's the ultimate humiliation

they said in that same paper that Mochimo already solved it, but also brought up QRL which is a scamcoin that Coinmarketcap CEO called out and had de-tracked due to inflated valuation. Both are supposedly quantum proof. I bought some MCM just in case. Qday is real.

Is that why he sold only 0.0038% of this stash?

I'll explain cause somehow even among cryptofags there aren't any compsci people here...
"Cracking" the algorithm here actually means just halving the power of operations required to solve it. If it's 256 bit, then it's 2 to the power of 256. In the very best case scenario here, that goes to 2 to the power of 128 on a quantum processor. You will need many million times all of the current quantum processing power in the world right now to crack a single one in years, and these are extremely difficult to manufacture.

The real chokepoint for quantum computing for like 15 years now is that they just cannot make them large enough, not by a long shot. If they somehow had a breakthrough and were able to make a quantum processor 10 times as large (in terms of qubits) as the current world record, we'd still need to have like 3 more breakthroughs like that to even approach the possibility of craching a single 256 bit key.

The feds will make it happen by 2040. They can't stand us little piggies being able to hide things from them. Soon to fly domestically they will require a DNA sample which will be used to decide your fate during the great cull. Buy PLTR to influence your odds.
