One of the worst investors I've ever met just told me he's going all in on the SpaceX and Anthropic IPOs. Tippy-top signal or based retard? I don't even know anymore
>>

spacex, no, anthropic, maybe. their claude AI is really good.
>>
>>62306872
Is Anthropic even close to profitability? What happens when they jack the prices up and everyone moves to open-source?
>>
Grok AI is dogshit so don't buy in there no matter what. If you believe in AI (i do) anthropic or open ai are equally good but imo, this whole IPO set is going to be the next casino with a high chance of getting dumped on. They're going to be debuting at like #10 market cap so there's not much potential upside, and lots of downside, unless price discovery happens. You're better off buying BTC at 40k and selling at 200k. Upside potential is about the same 3-5x, but without the risk of getting rugged

This is my perspective too. But it feels like we're deep in retard season (getting GME vibes) and idk which way the pendulum swings. I lived through the dot com bubble and made a lot just sitting on my hands waiting for that to play out, so I'll probably do that here too
>>
>>62306870
I’ve long since stopped understanding how markets work. Retardmaxxing might be the way to go here

Claude > Grok > ChatGPT, in terms of intelligence
>>
>>62307018
Grok just leased a bigass data center to Claude. There is zero room in the industry for stagnation rn and this is them admitting defeat. Plus they just spent 3 months neutering their ai to remove all the porn, instead of improving it. Grok is very far behind the pack rn

i wouldn't fuck it with a borrowed dick until shit hits the fan (which it will). it might bubble up in the near term, but you're standing in front of a freight train to pick up pennies at that point
>>
>>62307018
none of that matters. gemini will be more widely adopted simply because google is already deeply integrated into everyone's lives, and microsoft will continue to dominate the enterprise space. the others will slowly lose market share until they become irrelevant when google and microsoft have coding agents as good as or better than claude
>>
>>62306872
Apparently anthropic is profitable
>>
>>62307090
Google also has the data. I believe in them for more than just AI, but this point is good.

>>62307104
Prove it.
>>
you in 10 years:
>all i had to do is to buy spacex and anthropic ipo and i'd be set for life

Wouldn't touch those with a 50 foot pole but I do know that wsb is trying to pump and dump SPCE thinking people will buy cause ticker is similar. It just had it's first major correction today and there's a good chance it'll come back before the 12th so I bought a bit

In real life usage, Grok remains among the best, and sometimes better than Claude when you need an answer that’s not politically correct. I don’t think it’s far behind anyone except Claude.

>>62307090
Microsoft is nobody in the AI space and no one is going to use the Bing of AI.
>>
>>62307138
ive been real life using grok and chatgpt all year. chatgpt is very good and keeps getting better. grok was so retarded i shut the whole operation down after months trying to finetune it
>>
>>62307152
Depends on the mode you’re using. Grok Fast is mediocre, but Grok Expert is the real deal. Slow (takes one minute to answer) but worth it.

I only have the free version of ChatGPT 5 and I find it much worse than the previous models. The answers are fast, but very superficial and formatted like you’re a muppet. Very mid experience overall. Maybe it’s better with the paid version, but the free versions of ChatGPT 4 were superior.

They are projected to profit next earnings report I think, at least in software AI will revolutionize the industry, software is the next leg of bull market (if it's not pumping already stg)

i had to read a pull request produced by this revolutionary technology yesterday. so much code for so little functionality. but i guess that's the new way to reduce quality to increase ouput
