you can tell crypto is dead because the market is tanking and literally no one is talking about it. If this was 2018 or 2022 the whole catalog would be filled with pink wojaks. Literally no one cares.
>>
>>62310474
It's not even tanked yet. Bitcoin nipping at late 2022 prices, that's when people will wake up to the deviation from the power law. For now, it's all just bot spam.
>>
>>62310498
it's already broken the rainbow chart too
>>
>>62310539
I knew Bitcoin wasn't gay.
>>
>>62310474
the people here now are not the same people that were here a year ago.

in fact almost all of those people are gone now
>>
>>62312496
10/10 clearly wiped out most of the active traders here if not outright killed them. That's why all you see now are Dino Coin Generals and offtopic bullshit.
There is literally no liquidity here anymore, even the shitcoin bot threads give up after 3 replies because it's not even worth the effort to bot a thread for a 5k shitter. BTC can nuke -50% here and you might get 2 pink wojak threads if you're lucky
>>
>>62310474
You call this dumping? First month trading?
>>
>>62312473
kek
>>
>>62310474
yup.

CZ killed the whole market for good.

Is there a reason 4chan feels dead these days? Did twitter take all the edgy, schizos of the internet from us? I seriously miss several years ago when you would find anons dropping esoteric truth nukes, or even just good ol' fun shitposting.
>>
>>62312641
Who knows, personally I think it's the culture of online discussion has irrevocably changed since people started getting rewarded for "engagement". It's been drilled into everyone's heads that as long as people reply, even to just give bot posts, you're doing something right. So everything is just bait now. People have come to understand that if you can create a baitpost that gets retweeted thousands of times, you're succeeding at internet discussion. People aren't remembered for truth anymore. When you think about it, people aren't remembered for anything at all on the internet anymore. Even the most popular trends are completely forgotten a month later. It's just bait all the way down.
>>
>>62312710
Once twitter stopped its censorship a bunch of anons thought “this is the chance to finally get recognition for my posts” and moved over there. Hopefully 4chan will see a revival once Elon starts a blanket ban on criticism of Jews and Indians.

I still lurk but pretty much never post, and I come here about 1/20th as much as I used to. Unironically the LINK fudsters killed this board. All of the interesting characters were linkies and they got tired of the constant ragebait.
>>
>>62312641
>esoteric truth nukes
it was always dumb bullshit taken from other forums and dumped here for your credulous eyes. now no one cares because you've seen it all and its just boring now. the creativity has been exhausted.
>>
>>62312641
Forums are for old people now, the youngest Anons are like 37 years old
>>
>>62312641
bot spam, endless demoralization shit and comped jannies made this place worthless
>>
>>62312710
Good post. First biz post I've read in a week that wasn't a straight ragebait shitpost. I'm probably on my last legs as well with this new age of internet. Its all so tiresome
>>
Hype is my biggest holding and it's waiting for bitcoin to stop dumping so it can pump to 150 bucks.
>>
>>62312893
The "truth" posts back in the day weren't insiders or prophets, they were just real people effortposting based on scraps of information they put together. Sure when you get down to it it's just speculation, but the motivation behind those kinds of posts was to do your best reading those info scraps to make a solid prediction. Because if you're right, you're immortalized as the guy who called the shot. It's not like every effortpost was right, it's just that the motivation was a bit different than it is now.

>>62312917
People rag on digital IDs or whatever but how fucking cool would it be to have anonymous posting where every poster is cryptographically guaranteed to be a human from a developed country? Someone will make that someday, the barrier for entry is getting lower as this stuff becomes more normalized and engrained to everyday society.
>>
>>62313060
>immortalized as the guy who called the shot
we are all anons here, the idea was the best ideas rose to the top via anonymous consensus, no namefaggotry or gay influence, just whose words made the most sense. However now this place is spammed to hell and censored by corrupted jannies the consensus has been destroyed.
>>
>>62312907
hi im 20

Exactly, no one needs a name. The ultimate praise is to have your posts screencapped and shared later on as proof hat "we had it right first"

Anyone who's anyone already made it back in 2021, we dont have to care

Yes, over the last few years 4chan went from being a place where you could have fun, say controversial things and stray slightly off-topic, to a no-fun-allowed zone resembling reddit where you get slapped with 3 day bans for arbitrary reasons.

The only thing that drew people to 4chan disappeared, and after Musk bought Twitter and decided that anything goes as long as it doesn't break the law (which used to be the case with 4chan), people naturally moved there instead. I think the only reason most of us even come back here anymore is out of old habit, and we sure as shit aren't getting any new users coming because the entire point of 4chans existence is gone

I would say first months of this Trump term was the final death knell for /biz/ crypto, having the literal President of the US run jeet-tier pump and dumps was just too much. It killed off all shitcoins, meme coins and wild west feel that remained in the space, showed that it is just a 100% rigged game. Honestly even before that the board was already mostly dead for years, at least comparing to its peak.
You could delete the entire board at this point, because apart from some sad generals there are only automated stale Link meme, AI and off-topic demoralization threads. There is really nothing even remotely business or finance related being discussed here.
>>
>>62312641
>Did twitter take all the edgy, schizos of the internet from us?
I´m following pretty edgy stuff on Twitter but even my "for you" feed looks like Facebook nowaday.
>>
Crypto Is used in Lebanon, Pakistan and others third world country.
Crypto Money Is used.
Is dead market not crypto
>>
>>62312641
jannies started being too heavy handed with "offtopic" bans so its just not worth it to make high quality shitposts when a powertripping janny will most likely just delete your posts. the offtopic threads on most boards are usually the best ones and its how chan culture intermingled but thats pretty much dead now
>>
>>62312892
>noooo how dare the fuddies make fun of my shitcoin
price and chart, cuckold
>>
>>62313786
This. It's how almost every meme and memorable copypasta came to be. You try that shit now on most boards and it's almost a guaranteed ban. /biz/ isn't even that bad compared to other boards, many of which have become completely unbrowsable
>>
It's literally going to zero. IREN has announced bancruptcy along with other major miners and the network will stop processing transactions next month.
>>
>>62313786
The amount of times I've been banned simply for replying to an offtopic thread, its just ruined /tv/
>>
>>62313913
This happened to me simply replying to a Cheese thread. If its not AI, Link or outright /pol/bait then the jannies simply don't allow it.
>>
>>62312641
I’m still here, yelling nigger! every day
>>
i stopped posting here because of how fucking difficult it has been made to post i mean you REALLY have to have to time to sit here and retry captcha multiple times just to poast
>>
>>62314248
Dont chimp out like chud the builder
>>
>>62314176
Yeah I got a 7 day ban for responding to a Cheese thread. Shit was fucked. Although once I did appeal the ban successfully.
