Does anyone have any general tips for social media marketing? I like selling odd services using my own websites i'll make and using stripe for payment but the hardest part for me always is marketing. I generally just make a page on facebook/instagram, tiktok and twitter and post on there, then sometimes advertising those posts. I find i get almost all success on tiktok, but even then its still few people actually seeing the content. Like 200-500 views on posts not boosted, and I only get a few people showing interest. Instagram and twitter and pretty much contributing 0 sales. Does anybody have any tips for video creation (like any captions that help boost viewership). My videos and websites are usually pretty professional looking and up to the standards of other pages i see. But I just don't see the same return. Also does message outreach work? The types of services i sell make it seem like a scam if im the one approaching them, so I don't bother wasting my time. Interested to see if anyone else has perfected it, because I generally see a few hundred dollars a month but I can see much more potential if I can get better at marketing.

>>62322172General rule of thumb is if you see an advertisement on social media people block it. There's nothing more obnoxious than engaging with a subtle shill who's only purpose was to try and get you to consume which is particularly why normies hate us. The best approach towards engagement is to find a hobby, and either create a niche or join a niche group and then begin to slowly suggest whatever it is you're pitching. Key word here is suggest, you want to leave room for interpretation.
>>62322248This depends on many factors though: the platform (some are much more negative and suspicious than others), how your ad grabs the attention of the viewer, previous exposure to your brand (I want to get shilled if it’s from a company I like), etc.

>>62324679Do you mean following a lot of new accounts every day, then unfollowing those who don’t follow back (or even everybody)? A bit "grifty" but very efficient when you’re starting out.
>>62322172don't bother with media op, just do direct outreachit's really fucking pointless to compete with people on marketing unless you have a very clear sales pipeline set up. Only when the cost of advertising or media generation is less than revenue will advertising / media generation be viable.
>>62322172Are you attractive or able to appear attractive?
>>62326264Why?
>>62325230Yes Follow accounts that follow the accounts you want to be. Then unfollow I’ve studied social media marketing of and on for over a decade and most tricks don’t work
>>62322248this is just not good advice because it comes from someone without any real knowledge on SMMyou're not really wrong as much as just ignorant
>>62326264>being an attractive maleDoes that really help much? I know it matters for females but do attractive white males out perform non attractive white males?
>>62329278Charisma is more important than beauty, and delivering interesting and/or helpful content is more important than charisma (unless you’re a female in the OF business).>>62328474Unfollowing your mutuals is bad karma IMO. After a few months you should gain enough new organic followers every day anyway (so you can pivot from the "mass follow" strategy towards a viral/quality content strategy), so you’ll keep your "following" number low in the long term.
