We’re probably gonna below the realized price again which is (depending on the source) at about 50-54k right now
>>62331081please dear god I need a good wet short
>>62331081>we
>>62332357>I need a good wet shortThen you better start pissing.
>>62331081I'm thinking too many people think the realized price is a good entry so it probably won't dip below for a while yetRemember everyone has to believe bitcoin is ded for it to start the cycle again
>>62332466Yeah could take a couple more months. Not unlikely we’ll get a counter trend rally soon that makes it seem like we already bottomed. I am pretty sure it’s gonna go below the realized price eventually though
>>62334521Also I’m OP idk why my ID changed
sorry bros im a stupid nigger what is realized price?
>>62334528somewhere between 40k and 0
>>62334537no, I mean what is the concept of a "realized price"
Is there an ethereum realized price chart?
>>62334528It’s kind of hard to understand but it’s basically the average price that all bitcoins in circulation were bought at.And bitcoin tends to return to the realized price in bear markets I doubt it’ll be different this time.bitcoinmagazinepro's explanation>Bitcoin Realized Price is the value of all bitcoins at the price they were last transacted on-chain, divided by the number of bitcoins in circulation. This gives us the ‘average cost basis’ at which all bitcoins were purchased, which is another way of describing Realized Price.>>62334587I’ve actually never looked it up until now, there seems to be one by glassnode but it’s paypalled, maybe some anon here has a glassnode subscription. It’d be interesting to see for sure, theoretically you could create a realized price chart for every coin right? Maybe someone who has the time could cook something up themselves can’t be too difficult.
>>62334528>>62334541The price you realize when you sell in profit or loss after your entry or buy price. Also a taxable event.
>>62334679>>62334695ooo thanks bros
>>62334679Okay found out that ethereums blockchain is too complicated to simply scrape some price data which is why you gotta pay glassnode 50 bucks a month for it that sucks. Maybe I’ll try later with some Claude vibecoded bullshit. But stuff like litecoin or other UTXO Dino coins should work, problem being that theres no use in finding the bottoms of coins that never go up.
>>62331081This is a faulty metric. It's counting onchain bitcoin transactions as purchases at the time of transaction, which is almost never the case. People don't send btc on layer 1 at the time they open a position, those two actions are usually completely unrelated. Most people park their shit on an exchange and either never withdraw or withdraw randomly when they want to move funds around, change exchange or move it into cold storage periodically.
>>62335298That’s fair but it still seems to work quite well
