Currently make 120k/year. 24 and single. I figure I could realistically save enough for a 20% down payment on a 300-350k house in a year's time, which is when my apartment lease will end anyway. Is it worth saving all of that money to put towards a down payment or should I be investing it in the market instead?
>>62332587Always the market, especially at your age.>much better returns>more transparent>infinitely more liquid>not taxed>costs nothing in maintenance, insurance, etc.>does not make you the bank’s and your employer’s little bitch (having a mortgage puts a lot on pressure on your shoulders)>makes your financially independent after some timePlus you don’t really need to be tied to a property if you’re young and single, that’s good for families. While starting to invest at your age will give you outstanding returns over time.
Save up the 20% but only put 5 down, the rest in stocks and get a roomate

>>62332587Most states have a first home buyer down payment program that's usually around 5% or so. It will mean you pay PMI however. >>62332631I honestly think the Jews are paying a bunch of YouTubers, influencers, and bots to tell people to buy stocks.I think their house of cards is starting to crumble and they need a bunch of people to prop up their Jew money.I'm not saying buying stocks is necessarily A bad thing, but a house is a tangible object that is a roof over your head. my average Home maintenance has been around $120 a month over the past 10 years of ownership. My mortgage was more expensive than rent at the time at $2,000 a month. Now those same homes in my neighborhood are renting for $3,700 a month.
>>62332743>it’s the Jews>if it’s a tangible object, it’s much better than owning the best businesses in the worldGood goy + NGMI
Age matters greatly in all these questions, no matter if real estate, or whatever else> can I retire with 200k?Sure, after your 91st bdayAnd so on.
>>62332768Jews don't want you owning anything tangible.
>>62332587neither, both are inflated to shit, hold cash

>>62332587>24>$120k/yrnice bro, what do you do? im 24 and unemployed
>>62332587depends. I think the break even on a 30 year is currently around 15 years, so unless you plan on staying in the same place that long it may not be worth it. Depends how fast houses go up, but essentially the first 5 years of your mortgage you're just paying interest. If you plan on staying in one place for the next 20 years or so a house is definitely worth it in my experience. My house forces me to "invest" money into it every month that would otherwise go to rent. I'm 25 years into owning it, it has gone up 750%, and my house payment is now less than half of what rent starts at in my town.so yeah, over long timelines houses kick ass. Short time periods probably not.
>>62332743i can point you to 10x more jews telling ppl to buy houses
>>62332587If you weren't part of the top 10% in 2025, you're lower class

>>62332587>singleNah, buy a house with your future husband.
>>62332587>120k/year>HouseownerMy man, you can barely afford healthy groceries.
>>62332631this
forego better gains to buy a stick frame plywood cuckshed is a goyim in the real world mentality only reason to buy a house is if you really really need one i.e. rental market is bad and you have to have a home to raise a family or if the house is architecturally significant / or you can get the right land and build something architecturally sound houses are goyim-bait, otherwise.
>>62332743>I honestly think the Jews are paying a bunch of YouTubers, influencers, and bots to tell people to buy stocks.This. Exit liquidity scam.In 30 years, one house is worth one house. Stocks are worth a number between 0 and infinity in a currency that may or may not exist. I just focus on cash flow and don't worry about shit.
>>62337689>owning a house and land is Goy-baitcalm down rabbi
>>62334396He's right though. My experience in Australia has been that the banks will not lend you even 20% for rural land unless you have either equivalent equity in a suburban cuckbox and or some big gay government approved business plan to present to them. The jew clearly fears the homesteader and if you haven't figured out by now that you should always do the opposite of what jews say, you're ngmi.
>>62332631im not op but what would you recommend for housing situation?
