If I accidentally became aware of a large acquisition of a publicly traded company that I work at, is it legal to tell anyone? is it legal to trade on?I've been told its illegal by plebs that known about the same that I know. Also what if I trade on it and I only have 8k so it would be a small amount relative to what is probably normal for insider trading?long story short, I saw an email I wasn't supposed to see because of how it was forwarded. There is a [email]record that I've gotten this information that I should not have, but I don't think they noticed, cared or thought about it. But I kinda wanna risk it cause otherwise I might die poor and never own a house pls help

Pretty much all the big boys trade based on inside information, but they're usually not stupid enough to keep things in writing, which gives them plausible deniability. Pictues of this thread would be exhibit A at your trial
