Some 16 year old told me he had worked a full week nonstop, so he was told he had to take the next five days off. I told him that was good.

I told him that most people will not make it in today’s economy when $150,000 is considered middle class. He replied that $150,000 is a lot of money. I said sure, but the average American salary is around $65,000.

Then I asked him what kind of work he did, and he said he did some low level blue collar welding. I told him blue collar work is terrible. He responded that welders can make over $100,000 a year.

I told him that blue collar work is for low-IQ, uneducated people and that the adults in those jobs are losers and people who messed up their lives. I also said blue collar work is fun when you’re a kid, but the adults doing it are there because they’re losers.

It turned out that three blue collar workers had been listening to our conversation and told the kid not to listen to me because I didn’t know what I was talking about.

I then told the kid that when he grows up, he will realize people look down on blue collar workers for a reason and that blue collar adults are not the kind of people he should want to know.

The blue collar workers called me ignorant, yet, from my perspective, they seemed to have chips on their shoulders and came across as unintelligent.

Why are blue- collar workers like this? Are they aware of how the world perceives them?

I wanted to talk numbers because no way most blue collar makes over $100k. Can someone fill me in?

Honestly if your networth is not high enough to live off investment yields you are better off drawing down all your finances until your broke and then applying for welfare.

There is no "classes". There are people who spend all day working and those who don't. There are people who don't work who live off investments/passive income, and those who live off welfare.

All these people in all scenarios do nothing but eat food and consume media at home 98% of the time. What varies is how much they spend doing this.

It's just bot threads. It all seems pointless. They have these weird topics they spam.
I think they try to get people used to a certain topic like "my bf doesn't flush his poop" using the Metre-Exposure effect. Then they have an "influencer" read a script written by LLM.

all you fags are fags.

Blue collar work is important also. Sure wiring can be done pre-fab for new construction, but here's a fun fact: 100% of all the houses that have already been built have already been built.
That means that their cast iron pipes are about to collapse, or their pvc pipes are about to come unglued or crack. It means that if they want to redo the kitchen, someone has to come tear out the old cabinets and install new ones and install new light fixtures and move the gas line and put a heated tile floor in.

It means that the HVAC company you hire to do that has equipment that breaks, and when you shove baby wipes in the toilet and it clog, you have to hire gus to come snake that shit out.

I have a friend who's son is slightly autist and apprenticed as a welder at age 15. At 16, he got hired by a company to be the shop welder for the summer: $35/hr, 40 hrs a week. That's $70k a year, but remember, he was only 16.

Anyway, you can live a good life on $100k if:
You buy a small house and do your own repairs instead of having to hire some other dildo to do it.
Get a 6 year old Tacoma and drive it for 20 years

Once you have those costs under control, you should have lots of spare money to invest.

>>

There's absolutely zero things wrong with child labor when it involves doing normal ass jobs adults do with the same standards.

People always jump to kids being kept as slaves or beaten or made to carry explosives or work in some dangerous factory without training and it's stupid.

There's zero reason why a 12 year old kid shouldn't be alloweded to get paid to wipe down tables at a McDonald's or bus tables at Applebee's over his summer.

Had a "white collar" semi-richfag come to me one time for help. He was scared to death to open the radiator cap so he could add water and I told him how to check by pressing the upper hose to see whether there was any pressure or not. Come to find out he didn't even know where to add more water, he didn't know what the radiator cap was or how to open it but was adamant about how dangerous it was so he wouldn't do it. How do these people drive a car?

Those people are ether:
1. Retired
2. Trust fund leeches
Now you might say, “nuh uh, they are not parasitic blood sucking invertebrates”
And to that I would say, yes they are.
Money has to be spread out even to the non contributing members and often times instead of focusing on growing their portion; they spend energy on stealing it from the producing members.
About 1/4 of every family is productive.
About 1/2 are ambitious (not profitable)
And 4/4 are living luxuriously
That formula produces 1 producer, 2 layabouts and 1 thief; on average, in every generation.
Basically somebody has to be making the money wether it’s a company ran by the one ambitious and smart family member or my tax dollars in which case you are only advocating for leeching off of somebody and floating the idea it should be me and most people on this board.
So please fuck off and kys, immediately

Fake accounts FLOOD the internet. Especially kinky shit like fetlife and the kink subreddits - they will have the exact same contact for totally different account and profiles.

Electrical contractor here. I live closer to the beach than you do. It’s kind of funny, most skilled tradesmen look down on people like yourself. We feel sorry for you because in the grand scheme of things - you’re worthless. Unable to build or fix anything. Totally dependent on others. Kinda pathetic
>>
>>62355262
The mind of a blue collar is truly pathetic.
>>
>>62342770
I haven’t worked in 1,5 months and i can already feel myself wanting to just become passive and not really being impressed or motivated by anything (brain getting fried by dopamine and serotonine). You have to be exactly the kind of ultra degenerate basement dweller who spends all his time in front of screens if you think that not working at all is good. Humans need the struggle in order to feel alive.
>>
>>62355301

> You have to be exactly the kind of ultra degenerate basement dweller who spends all his time in front of screens if you think that not working at all is good. Humans need the struggle in order to feel alive.
You’re probably just poor. People making a top 10% income from investments tend not to work.
>>
>>62355301
>1.5 months
You don’t even have a non working lifestyle built yet.
>>
>>62355307
This may be the funniest claim I've seen you make. Absolutely nobody from your school does any kind of work at all? Most people do find things to keep themselves occupied with, beyond mere shitposting on an anonymous uzbekistani finger painting notification board.

Maybe we grew up in different classes.
On one hand, /biz/ loves to larp as rich and successful and on the other hand, loves to larp as muh productive and I don’t like doing nothing.
Fucking jokes.
I hear people say what you say all the time. Yet look at retired people, I don’t see you saying shit to them. Yet when it is someone young and not working, suddenly they are “unproductive.” Even though these people are clearly rich.
>>

>>62355313
>>62355322
Kek did i trigger you too much?
>>
>>62355342
I have never in my life looked at someone not working and thought anything bad.
Growing up, my dad retired when I was like 5. By 10, the parents of all my school friends were retired long ago.
By past college, the differences between the haves and have nots became noticeable because college is where you truly see class differences because high school and under tend to mainly kids from your neighborhood.
You cannot imagine life without work yet kids that grew up like me were surrounded by adults that don’t work. It is the normal. People like me just carry on the lifestyle.
People from successful families don’t break their back.
>>
>>62355301
Depends what you mean by work. But any occupation today is not a good use of time. Like work as in what? Something you need to get a college degree for? White collar?
Or something blue collar? That’s even dumber.
Starting your own business? Okay sure, if you want to start it as a hobby..?
I don’t know. People build lifestyles when they don’t need to work to live.
Some travel, some have many social gatherings
>Humans need the struggle in order to feel alive.
Oh yeah, the bottom 90% definitely feel alive struggling lol.
Struggling for what? Lmao.
>>
>>62355301
Sometimes I see the kids in my neighborhood. This isnt an ultra rich 100m a year neighborhood or millions a month neighborhood but in 10-20 years when these kids grow up, it would be a waste of time for them to get a “job.”
Get it?
