Is Alibaba a buy now? Is the bottom in?
>>62349967I wonder the same about xiaomi and BYD
>>62349967wtf does alibaba even do?
>>62349988Semiconductors (T-Head), Cloud computing, AI (quwen) and a little internet retail.
Buying Chinese company's when you are not Chinese is very risky.
>>62349986China controls 70% of global rare earth extraction and up to 99% of the refining/processing capacity. In the long run these companies will perform better compared to companies facing the asymmetric dependency that formed over the last years. But in the nearer future the U.S. can salten the soup with sanctions and bans. Such as the pentagon blacklist that got official the day before or a potential exclusion from payment systems. I wonder what the real elites plan with China and how fast things will change.
>>62350122Why? China tries to prevent cash outflows but not inflows. Most of my portofolio are chinese banking stocks which perform well and pay nice dividends. So far I had no problems.
jewish markets punished the chinese tech companies for planning big spending on AI (i.e. they are questioning the return prospects fromm all of this)at the same time western markets cheer and celebrate big capex by american tech companies on ai.this is not only about tech companies by the way. in the west construction related businesses are bid to the moon, while in China they've been falling.
>>62350143>in the west construction related businesses are bid to the moon, while in China they've been falling.I wonder if the FED decision this month is the turning point. My guess is that the financial power will move to Asia while a war turns Europe into burned soil and while the U.S. turnes into a civil war country. So investing in China now is early and with ups and downs. Always remember: the financial elites constructed todays China. So I guess Europe and the U.S. are "bad companies" that will be used to get rid of unwelcome liabilities.
