Hi I just purchased space x. I have one share and it is my first stock. Does this mean I own part of the company ? Like I can use the restroom there and stuff? Of course obviously I can’t get in a rocket but I should be able to enter the building since i own a piece of space x or vote on stuff. How does it work?

>>62361050i depends because if you buy a stock through a broker you usually is not technically an owner of the actual stock but you have a sort of contractthe stock is actually owned by the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporationolder paper stock are housed in a flooded warehouse in NY which is never audited. it's filled with rats and silverbugs(if it was ever audited we would find out that multiple people own the same stocks)in your case they probably own it digitally
