I think you're onto something. Yugioh is more aesthetically pleasing and more complex than pokemon. Whilst this is a negative for surface level investing and enjoyment, I think as pokemon is so popular, people will start to get bored and monkeybranch into similar card games. Yugioh just slaps when it comes to looking cool and the anime is pretty good too.I think yugioh is cooler than pokemon and would say its safer to invest in that long term over pokemon (unless you buy the most expensive nostalgia cards)
