Most newfags don't know how insane the market was back then, every single shitcoin pumped when Bitcoin was pumping. Total scams usually pulled off a +500% in a couple of weeks just because they changed their logo or their website. It was insanely easy to make money just by throwing it in the top 50. Most of them were able to x100 in the span of a year just look at scams like Iota, Nano, Dash, Neo etc... Meanwhile 2021 was quite boring because it was only NFTs and doggy coins pumping and 2024 was extremely boring and short lived in terms of hype since 90% of shitcoins never recovered their 2021 ATH.I think we'll never experience again the sheer amount of euphoria and gains we had in 2017. It was a once in a lifetime thing for crypto

A damn shame since I was two years into my career and had like $6000 a month in disposable income that I could've been dumping into crypto. I only put in like $5k total. But not making it back then was actually a blessing because I surely would've lost a lot of money on Terra Luna or Celsius later. My game plan at one point was to get to $2 million and then earn 15-20% a year on one of those scam platforms.
