Just the amount of solar panels needed makes the plan unrealistic. Yeah they can definitely launch some into orbit and they'll probably have some kind if function as part of Starlink, but they're talking about tens, if not hundreds of thousands of satellite with hundreds of KW power consumption. It's just a repeat of "we'll be on Mars by 2025" or "we're gonna build tunnels under every city for your Tesla" or "you'll make money by renting out your autonomous Tesla" and so on.
