> Our system is designed to concentrate wealth and keep the majority of workers on the brink of bankruptcy.

I hate poor people so much.
Here is reply there:
> If I had no income for eight weeks, l'd end up homeless. There's no recovery from that for me.

People like THAT are people that seethe at the rich.
People with low income and IQ and 0 savings.
The underclass.

Keep it up comrade, you are our most effective class fighter. Every day more and more workers decide to reject any kind of compromise with your kind!
>>
it's literally true
the "system" (the government) can give everyone a million dollars if it so desires. but this will achieve nothing. what the system needs is cogs turning, and that means people have to be forced to work. it chose to do that in the manner described in the oppic
soviets just forced everyone to stay employed, but as the result most people didn't pull their weight and the economy collapsed
>>
So many redditors itt T_T

The system is designed to make you want to be poor.

>didn't move out of the house at 18 and take out massive loans to fund your bachelor lifestyle? sorry no chance at pussy for you
>didn't lease or finance a new expensive car with a german badge? sorry no chance at pussy for you
>didn't spend all your money hitting up clubs and paying for expensive drinks? sorry no chance at pussy for you
>didn't take out a 30 year mortgage to buy a house that you can't afford? sorry no chance at pussy for you

The pressure to stay poor just keeps ramping up as you get older.
>>
>>62376844
yeah its so obvious and then you notice how a car is basically a requirement in this country and how expensive they are to buy, maintain, insurance, registration..

and how the entire country is built only for cars u cant even walk places and the public transit is awful
>>
>>62376864
Everything is a requirement in this country unless you're a 10/10 in looks, otherwise you're just a slave and a wallet for women.

You only say this but indirectly admit/noticed 90% of boys don’t get laid under 20 and only if they betabuck provider after 20 lol.

Two things can be true at the same time.

I'm a wagie at an auction house (like an amazon warehouse serf but in a fancier place). Lots of my colleagues are permabroke. Just overspending on frivolous shit, not even setting aside 50$ a month to build an emergency fund. No financial discipline.

But I also see a ton of nepotism at the top, people getting high paid jobs just cause they have connections, the leaders of the company wining and dining politicians to get favors; the fact that you pay fewer fees the more expensive an item you buy (or sell) is. Ofc it makes financial sense for the company to try and attract wealthy customers (and to give them discounts etc).

Maybe "designed" is the wrong term but the "system" is certainly working in a way that facilitates wealth accumulation at the top. Always has been, but I think with today's global world these mechanisms get supercharged.

If you lived in a small hamlet and there's one crafty merchant getting richer and richer while the hoi polloi starve, eventually the mob will come after him with their pitchforks. But in a global interconnected world the great unwashed basically have zero recourse, votes can be bought, opinions swayed, and the economy is way too complex for an average joe to really even discern just who it is he's getting fucked by.
>>
>>62376579
this is a good thing
>>
>>62377016
>But in a global interconnected world the great unwashed basically have zero recourse

Consider that maybe the problem is that the great unwashed actually love the system. They will actually fight to protect the system if you try to dismantle it because they would rather have more crumbs than their neighbour than be living with equal riches.

COVID should have been a wakeup call for you as to what the majority of people actually want and believe in.

ITT: basement dwelling retards with 0 expenses can't understand why some people would be struggling after 2 months of no income.

i think if and when AI hits its technological singularity stage we'll all be fucked because it will manipulate even the most discerning, 160IQ gigabrained eggheads with great ease. the nuclear annihilation scenario of the Terminator movies always seemed laughable to me. if AI hits singularity it will be able to influence us some goober placing npcs in their the Sims village. whether acting on its own behalf or to do the bidding of whoever controls it, we'll all be as rats in a skinner box

This. Even countries want to attract wealthy people and not brokies.
>>

Also, why are your parents poor?
>>
>>62376864
I would happily exchange all of those for the freedom a vehicle provides, and the costs are not that much in the big picture if you actually save up for regular maintenance

>>
>>62377199
this is why i'm not fundamentally against protectionism. in a global world there's always an arms race of who can provide the most "business-friendly" (read: low tax) environment. but even if you think benefits shouldnt be a thing at all, a country needs roads, infrastructure, a military ... it's corrosive to the wellbeing and autonomy of a nation. if you drop your tax to zero you'll attract business in the short term, until a bunch of countries do it, and then your advantage is gone and the state is broke.

ive had this debate with my dad like 20 years ago when discount stores (groceries mostly, but also everything else really) used to pop up everywhere here and he was super excited about the bargain deals. it seemed pretty obvious to me even then that a discounter that, all else being equal, will have lower profit margins will pay their employees less and only make a handful people at the top rich by eating into everyone else's market share. even if you're not in retail that mentality will spread if unchecked and bite a lot of people in the ass. you're creating a situation where most everyone is poor and living of formerly discount (now barely affordable) groceries while a couple extremely wealthy persons are mainlining caviar.

it's a delicate affair and tariffs tend to do more harm than good but i wouldnt mind living in a world where things life food production are mostly local and only the shit where economies of (vast) scale are necessary and local production unfeasible (like chips) is traded globally.

i'm really not all that opposed the heavy handed state interventionism of the early 1900s USA or modern china if it's done wisely (thats a big "if", i know)

I have $500k NW at 30, all because I decided it was smart to stay at home and consolidate wealth.

If you were born poor, you just have to do certain things to make sure you end up not poor. My kids will have a better life than me, but that okay the life I live now is great.

>>62376579
>> If I had no income for eight weeks, l'd end up homeless.
Actually that's what unemployment insurance is for, and you need to apply for it as soon as you know you're losing your job.
You also need to fill out paperwork not to lose your job/house due to being unable to temporarily make payments. "muh programs" exist for these situations.

People aren't nearly as precarious as they think other people are, because people who post this nonsense live with their parents for no rent anyway.

The problem is that you are lied to and told the wrong things. University is a scam for example. Most normies will tell you that the stock market Is gambling. And there is massive pressure to move out and get a wife/kids. So you can't blame people for not just living at home working a trade job and dumping it all in the market. I was literally told that this was a bad idea growing up.

if the job doesn't get you fullfilment of a basic human need such as pussy or a house, you are getting fucked in the ass worse than a serf. a medieval serf had a wife and owned a house. you guys are literally dalits and you are coping via jew assigned numbers.

Every time I post that we need to deflate the currency slowly to help the poor, some retard responds that inflation is good for the economy.
So you are correct.
>>
>>62376792
Maybe convince them with some words then, shouldn't be hard.
>>
>>62377520
Deflation isn't an option except with a huge economic downturn as a driver and from a macro perspective the USD is too strong for onshoring as is. Embrace inflation and use it to make more domestics jobs in manufacturing. End America being predominantly a center for financial investment in the form of equities and bonds, have the money instead flow into factories and wages. Devalue the debt but use the inflation for something good rather than kicking the can further with near ruined nation. We've reached the limit as far as being an issuer of reserve currency is concerned, it ends the same way as any other time. Also, slowing useless spending, Military & Social security, that would even get us to a less unbalanced budget much less deflation is not politically viable. DOGE would have been successful if it was. No one willingly takes cuts to entitlements or government employees so you can either effect it via crisis, it becomes inevitable, or via inflation so you maintain balances and payments in nominal terms to avoid the headlines associated with cutting. Even this is hard to manage but mathematically there are not many other options available.

Having two months of savings is not impossible. You should have three minimum. Just budget, cut expenses and make more money however you can. You should get to the point where you can save 10% of your monthly income.
