i hear sram is a lot more expensive in terms of area per bits, and their current design doesnt have sufficient memory storage to hold good models without penalty.

this wafer scale stuff sounds like a no brainer so im surprised it hasnt wiped out nvidia. jensen pretends like programmability is important but thats only because gpus came out of the shader/vfx world. for llms/ai, that is not going to be neccesarily true, and may well become a drag on everything.

All the other memes I saw about rotating into 2-4 different sector etfs failed, even through the dips and bobs, the tech sector still won out. XLE (energy) was the only other thing to come close

Swing traded and timed the market like I'm not supposed to. Got insanely lucky but I'm starting to realize puts may be the play in general. I literally have never done puts until today.

jacketman is up there with musk in terms of pure unparalleled success. i would really struggle to bet against jensen.

then again hes been quite openly cozying up with his ethnic countrymen in taiwan (and beijing) and i always wondered if trump, or his admin would take notice. when jensen stayed behind after the presidents delegation left china, it made me wonder. i think trump in general is very sensitive to symbolic stuff like that.

but then what pressure could he exert. so maybe none of that is even relevant. politics aside, i think nvidia will not fall behind.

There's just billions of them my nigga. And the US government lets them in. I can't vouch for some hiring managers having biases, I'm sure it happens, but there's not a conspiracy to bring in more jeets. The one good idea Trump had was to add that 100k tax on the h1b.

0dte ITM swings. Extremely stupid and if a single time it had pumped or dumped I would have been fucked
>>62378565
Sure thing mumu. But seriously, how many of these fucking ai meme pumps actually last? Cracker barrel (and most retail/food shit) has been on a downward trend for years because jews keep jacking up prices. So you have a company that is bleeding money, they get a quick pump from saying NOW WE GOT AI, but it will fizzle out because no one fucking cares.
>>62378561
Every stock I see shilled on here or wsb gets a pump with internet traction and FOMO, but the stock and companies are never worth shit. People chasing GME again but jews will never let it happen. Day trade restrictions are unironically just a way to watch retail lose their money at the drop of a point while Goldberg slurps
>>
i'm thinking of farming covered call premiums on my stuff but i have no confidence in my ability to price this correctly to keep my shit from getting called
>>
>>62378586
but youre day trading, and youre retail.
>>
>>62378591
Don't do it or be EXTREMELY conservative with your strikes. You could aim to make an extra yearly 1% or so, which making 0.02% in premiums every week. In any given week it's very unlikely this option will become ITM, but have a strategy for if when it does.
>>
>>62378600
Yes but I don't have paper hands and the mindset of some goofball who just dumped money in (((robinhood))) because they think a new gme or sndk is right around the corner.

Conventional retail is scared shitless to lose their money, I can take it or leave it. If they see their numbers go red they panic sell and will naturally bring the stock down. Every Bloomberg or plebbit post just gives incentive for normies to buy then immediately dump upon any kind of correction
>>
>>62378601
what's the mitigation strategy besides praying that the market doesn't pump harder than expected? selling cash-covered puts SOUNDS simple enough (we'll see about that) but i have no idea about selling covered calls.
>>
>>62378583
>these type of arguments are made by sub 3 digit IQ people
my IQ was tested at 84 so your comment does not apply me
>>
>>62378607
What I do is roll the call ahead another week, at the highest strike possible without having to pay any difference. Sometimes, this will get you out of the hole, but not always. When a call you sold goes ITM you're in for some shit usually, or you should just accept that your shares will be called away.

Another thing you could do is that if the option goes ITM and its worth at expiry is less than the premium you were paid, just buy it back. Then you netted some profit at least.

The sad bit is that an extraordinary bullrun will fuck you up. Look at Intel and AMD the last few months. If you had some calls you would be utterly fucked, or would have to roll them out a year or so in the hopes that they come back down, which is bad for you too.
>>
>>62378607
Usually people choose a strike of 0.20-0.30 delta. O.40 if you want to be agressive. I like selling weeklies but some people go far as 30-45 dte. Personally I don't like having my capital tied for that long.

Falcon 9 is super reliable and regularly launches multiple times a week, so an ordinary satellite launch isn't going to generate much buzz.

June 23 they're supposed to launch a test of their new uncrewed re-entry vehicle on Falcon 9 which might be interesting, but the main thing to watch is Starship. A big success or failure there is bound to influence the stock price.

>>
>>62378844
Unironically, Musk is mogging every other company because hes doing it for fun and not money, but he understand that he still has to be net positive.
Many companies of the current generation don't think about making good products they think about what makes money or attracts investors. Things like outsourcing workers, cooking up new accounting methods, mass layoffs, shifting around assets, cost cutting corners, and selling parts of the company. None of these things actually improve a product or create something new. Thats why everything is enshittified.
Musk on the other hand says "how do I go to mars?" "how do I make robot servants?" "how do I make self driving cars?" and then tried to build businesses that make that happen.

If there's still a lot of time till expiry and you exercise now, you'll be leaving money on the table because you lose out on the extrinsic value, so it's usually more profitable to sell a contract than exercising it. Alternatively you can also look into doing a poor man's covered call.

I finally bought a pro subscription to Claude just to see what everyone is raving about. I tried to use it to speed up my PhD research and from what I've seen, it's somewhat good at sifting through papers, but when it comes to analysis, it's pretty much useless. It hallucinates all the time, misinterprets things and reverses course on the slightest pushback from me. What it's really good at is speeding up the writing of analysis code, but ChatGPT and Gemini are both equally as good at this.
It's blatantly clear to me that these LLMs are NOT intelligent, so what the fuck is everyone raving about? Is this shit seriously what trillions of dollars of market cap in the stock market is based on?

SpaceX has pivoted to being data centers in space
What people should ask is not muh Mars kingdom run by elon but what is the most efficient memory and hardware to use in space for datacenters.
Mrvl may be the play. In order to get the most out of space datacenters, which are difficult to maintain and upgrade, you would need tech that allows your memory to go further beyond.

Can confirm that I was one of the people who was successful after the Game Stop and AMC short squeeze. That is where I started out. Held long enough to save the companies then sold and immediately reinvested in normal stocks. People like me did not get a return on long term investment for anything until last year. Sold a bunch of stuff in January and February this year. Bought some more things for a couple of months including the March dip. That is a trial by fire investing in a bull market and timing short squeezes. There are going to be some tough mother fuckers who are retail by the end of this decade. No easy shakeouts and frequent ineffective short selling for institutional investors. Bait dummy stocks from retail to trigger day traders to sell so they can slurp before they get back in.
