That's a long time. It took just a few weeks from the February dump before the 30% bear market rally started, and when that happens, all is forgotten- If the bear market continues for half a year, they can slowly raise the dividend to try and achieve par, which doesn't significantly change their obligations- If neither the existing reserve nor common stock dilution is enough to keep paying the dividend until the next bull market, they can just sell $1.5b worth of BTC in a week to cover their obligations for another year. The market can easily absorb this. There will be a brief period of panic on the announcement afterwards, but they can wait it out for another year instead of running into a death spiral
