There is no career anyway, use the added free time for learning and personal growth so you have options when the inevitable "you are made redundant" mail comes. Loyalty and bootlicking are worthless and you know it.

I work in sales and I had a meeting with my coworkers where I mentioned I'm planning a Japan trip in November, they asked me not to and I told them that if I wanted to fly to Japan next week none of them would even notice lol
