in all the ways that matter, yes, it is dead

What makes you say that?

There's still going to be some gains left in BTC, but it's likely only a 4x-5x this time around, and that's if you time the bottom and top perfectly.

Should I sell all my XRP and HBAR for BTC?

He's right tho. $15k-20k bottom later this year, $70k-80k top in 2029.

We could've had $300k Bitcoin and $20k Eth but you guys decided to put a clown in because eggs were too expensive or something.

What are you guys basing this on? Ive been hearing the bitcoin is dead thing for a decade now. Way it looks to me is it's going through the same four year cycle it's always gone. Each peak is somewhat less intense but that makes sense, at a certain point the market would be saturated.

I'm actually considering buying some right now, for the first time. I'm just a retard but based on past cycles I'd expect it to go to at least 100-150k ish

Inshallah crypto may be dead, but when demcorats finally defund law enforcement I take solace in knowing I am going to break into your house and skin you alive and pretend to be you while using the rest of you as a good source of protein for when eggs are too expensive again.

Bitcoin 11 years ago 100 bucks into bitcoin would be like 120k at the 2025 high

If you put 100 bucks in now, it'll be like 1000 bucks at the 2046 high

The risk reward is not good except for large players and there are no altcoin projects emerging that are like "hey this piece of shit has 10 million in startup funds and is going to revolutionize gooning with AI or some shit, jerk off and get some it's called POG- proof of goon" and then have that shit run to 1 billion mcap and get a million bucks.

>Ive been hearing the bitcoin is dead thing for a decade now.
this is the dumbest refrain. bitcoin is a blip in history and can die at any time. the "bitcoin market" currently consists of binance selling bitcoin to michael saylor at a retarded markup while waiting for microstrategy to go bankrupt. the clarity act is doa, will be shit even if it passes, and the next administration will be highly hostile to crypto, and rightly so. there is no interest. there is no future. it is over

BTC isn't dead, maybe it gets to 30k at the very lowest
>>
I've heard "BTC is dead" many times in previous bear markets, only this time I actually believe it.
It will "go up" again in the coming years, but people expecting 200k, 500k, beyond are in for a surprise.
>>
>>62385967
the dip in November killed crypto plus the fact that young people throw their money now in prediction markets instead of crypto
>>

I sold all for BTC already, I stake a bit on babylon. Altcoin season is over.

Real perspective fyi I’ve been in this game since when we bought this shit on gox. I don’t think cycles are over, bitcoin market is inherently cyclical because its marginal supply changes cyclically. There’s been a lot of work into this but a lot less into what function crypto actually serves in the economy. It seems to me that the camp who believed it was acting as a sink for excess liquidity were correct. But I also think it was a sink for excess compute. That’s a big reason I’m not as confident going forward w/ crypto because I don’t anticipate very many operators wanting to run POW farms when they can just pivot to AI which has a way clearer use case and value.
There are like infinitely many shitcoins and basically if you’re holding something a street rando hasn’t heard of you are a retarded baggie.
I’m sure BTC range will keep contracting and it will eventually fall into a terminal value range. It is definitely still investable and tradable but when it’s up 6 million% what do you expect?
>>
there is exactly 1 more mega cycle
