I hate being in debt and I pay my bills immediately. Am I ngmi? Modern economies seem to be based on using debt as much as possible.

You are doing it right. Everyone else is broke, in debt up to their eyeballs and full of shit. Stay the course.

Anon this anons right. I had kind of a breakdown in my early 30s because I felt insanely behind from family/friends(getting houses, having kids) only to find out how much help they all had or, knowing one of them has been frugal and saving since 13 years old(38 now) and a few others in very successful high paying careers(doctor, engineer) and came to realize and understand, my comparisons were more outliers and the vast majority are fucking horrific with money and im in a good spot, just behind vs people who had loads of help, or did very hard degrees leading to difficult but strong careers.

My only issue is career which im fixing, if you are focusing on debt and making sure you pay bills, you are ahead. I work with people in loads of debt, even worse, perpetual CC debt on top of loans. I see coworkers gambling sports and stake instead of even buying safe as fuck stocks. People with new cars for no reason. From the outside they might seem in good finances, but they arent. They are in perpetual debt. Its all a front.

You can easily come across people making $200,000 a year living paycheck to paycheck because they have horrible financial behavior.

Notice how in life the last thing fatties and co ever wanna hear are the requirements to stop being fat?

Finances and people are like that but more widespread.

I got a coworker whos a multi-millionaire, most think hes a poor but frugal guy living in a studio 5 minutes from his mom, reality is hes the richest man at work, working part time, only here helping his mother whos 90.

Guess what he does most dont? He stays out of debt, frugal, and invests. Get out of debt anon like you are. You are doing better than most.
