Nintendo stock just keeps falling, week after week. The newest version of Claude tells me the company won't be able to survive AI commoditizing video game development. Is this why people are abandoning ship?
>>62391787>commoditizing video game developmentA sucker truly is born every minute.
Retards not realizing this is a great dip to buy.>not a nintendo fan>understand dev pipelines and the industryYou wont go to the moon but youll make money.
>>62391848Paltopia was made on a shoestring before LLMs got good, and it beats anything to come out of Game Freak ever. Off-brand Mario Odyssey will be one-shot-able in five years.
>>62391787>Star Fox this week>Ocarina of Time Remake coming this fall>new 3D mario next year>Zelda movie next year>more movies/tv shows down the line Idk man, I feel like this is a great time to buy. I think in the long term Nintendo could be something like the next Disney, considering how beloved and recognizable so many of their properties are.
Nintendo games are so simple that they are the most susceptible to AI. Try asking Fable to make you a game in the style of Nintendo and it spits out scary good shit that runs instantly in browser. Nintendo is finished.
As long as they can monetise zelda, animal crossing and mario they will continue to print forever. The problem comes with selling hardware in a market where silicon wafers are insane prices.Arguably the dip is a good chance to buy for when the AI bubble collapses.Palworld never mattered, IP infringement never mattered, zelda, mario and animal crossing just keep making money.Being "vulnerable to AI" never mattered, they have kids and parents down on lock, and arguably all of their "simple" games are full of industry leading polish.
AI retards don’t realize it’s not the gameplay that makes it good, it’s the backstory of the characters as well. People love Mario, Zelda, etc because of the personality and story that they have. AI will just generate fantasy slop
>>62391787Nintendo might suck but claude has a bit of conflict of interest on the matyer desu senpai. Ive never seen an ai coded game tht wasnt globohomo af...then again people actually play garbage like roblox
>>62391853you are a genuinely stupid person
>>62391892AI is trained on the backstory it can make 20+ unique Zelda games a year
>>62391928You are unironically cooked if you can't extrapolate the exponential.
>>62391892What you are referring to is "brand", a subject studied for many decades. Brand premia in entertainment are well understood and usually overstated as a fraction of IP value. Entertainment brands can be reverse engineered. And anyway, there'll be brand mass extinction as AI commoditizes more and more of the pipeline.
>>62391853Off brand Mario would be hard to pull off because Nintendo is very aggressive on its patent.
>>62392182They barely got anything out of their Palworld suit exactly because it is almost impossible to protect most of the elements in the package that makes an IP. Every gameplay innovation they make is inherently nonrival; anyone can copy it, as long as they don't use certain imagery or story concepts. Sadly Nintendo can't capture most of the value they create.
I just bought my 5yr old a Rog Ally X for his birthday. Nintendo’s been cooked for a while. I already own one and just found out my buddy has one as well. Tendies are the only ones slurping up remakes from 30 years ago.
Palworld is Pokemon if Pokemon were gay.
>>62392182niggas will cook mario up locally so i wish them good luck with that. either the idea of patents dies or its dystopiamaxxed AI fueled deus ex land
>>62391787Company has no future.Games are out, social media is in.With a propper win in gaming, you can get a Destiny or a GTA, where some fat faggot will live his entire life and spend his entire disposable income living vicariously through a character model.Any game that doesn't fit this mold is just competition, taking the lardass out of our digital storefront and ecosystem. So we'll buy em up and kill em, simple as. Its worth it to keep him where he ought to be, in our "game", shelling out $20 for some golden coat or gun a Thai slave modeled during an all-nighter for a proportional $0.000015.
>>62392196>Can't capture Most of the value they createPokemon is the highest grossing IP of all times
>>62392343Nintendo only owns a fraction of Game Freak kek.
>>62391787mama miaaaa
>>62391892until they're paid royalties every time someone types "Mario" into GPT, they're cooked
>>62391787Hahaha, bottom is near signal and great chance to buy. Whoever falls for this argument deserves the bad decision - maybe panic sell too. That may be true for mobile games and Western shit; Nintendo is there for a completely different market and has remained the sole seller of profitable consoles, long-running franchises that don't run out of ideas, games that don't depreciate and age like milk, and immunity to woke Californian corporate safe bullshit. They are mopping the floor with their competition as the freaking Switch 1 was outselling the PS5 (as Sony destroyed their moat for nothing then sank hundreds of millions on woke shit, and Microsoft just lost and left) and now the Switch 2 is outselling 1 with $70 games they do not put on sale, despite the seething. As secondary revenue streams, they're gaining traction with the expanding theme park and first successful films. What else do we want?
I was conditioned from a young age to søyface whenever I hear the Mario coin sound.
>>62391854Star Fox has never been that popular and remakes are big gay.I'd wait for when hype starts ratcheting up for the new poopymon. This one doesn't look like a half-finished PS2 game so it'll probably smash sales records.
>>62392462Nintendo doesn't own any of gamefreak. Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures inc. each own one third of The Pokemon Company
Gaming stopped being a growth industry. And there is booms and busts in the greater stock market cycle. What complainers who bought near the top do not seem to be aware of is that Nintendo stock broke it's 10 year ladder. And there always is a months long dead cat bounce when there is a big drop. Be patient. It's a good company but these things happen even if it is profitable.Remember Japan didn't have their own version of a Dodge Brother's lawsuit where they have to prioritize shareholders over company employees being paid well. Yes this really happened in America. Henry Ford got sued because he believed in having well compensated workers who could afford cars. At the expense of shareholders hoping for 4X gains instead of modest gains This is what they will warn you about investing in Asian stock markets. So do not expect this stock to go up to $100 especially with the Yen being inflated all the time and all the old people taking out their retirement money.
Forgot pic related. But on another note I do not believe AI will be that big of a thing. But it is making chips expensive and that is hurting the video game industry. The AI bubble popping will be a relief for many video game companies.
>>62391860Nintendo games are the only good games left. 30 years later and the one company that can make a game better than Mario 64 is Nintendo.Fuck you, with all sincerity.
>>62392703Nice try tendie. Enjoys playing OoT lmao
What about TTWO?>down -5% YTD>set to release what's guaranteed to be the highest selling video game of all time this holiday season, with pre-orders opening in 4 daysSounds super bullish to me but I'm retarded, could someone explain to me why it's not before I do something dumb?
>>62391787Claude is right. Ninshitdo always had anticonsumer behavior and now it's coming back to bite them
>>62392717And nintendo control creature Inc
>>62391848With what, Wii U lifetime sales
>>62391882>Arguably the dip is a good chance to buy for when the AI bubble collapses.youre unsophisticated and low IQ and project there is a bubble. therefore there is none.
>>62391787Gaming died after Covid and LLMs made it even worse. Traditional software has lost it's value.
>>62393202Its already priced in. do you really believe you are the only one who realizes that
>>62393324I don't think it's a moonshot or anything but I'm seeing some decent room for more upside to swing trade news headlines onProbably better things out there to throw money at though, u rite
>>62393360The problem is that "it's not a moonshot, it's just a solid honest stock." mentality is damaging you -- It's exactly why retail everyday investors' portfolios are absolutely anemic and can't perform. They're literally shit at stock picking. They don't understand how stocks work. Stocks work only on surprise. That's the only thing that matters. Yeah, sure, you can get a 20% per year gain with Take-Two, but you will also get that with QQQ. Whatever you think are solid stocks, don't invest in them. You need to invest into basically what is regarded as too reckless by 100 IQs. I mean, how do you think wealth is generated? Not by following the lowest common denominator. Making money is literally just risky.
>>62393456>actually you should invest in risky stocks that are overvaluedTop signal.
>>62391787$600 console with...>no released games that anyone wants>no soon-to-release games that anyone wants>no announced games that anyone wants
>>62391787The left always eats itself. Go woke go broke
Their woke pandering and rampant anti-piracy is the cause. If they completely gutted Nintendo of America and got rid of the donutsteel boomers, they would be welcomed again.
>>62391848the movies will make money. nintendo conematic universe will average a billion per movie
>>62391787Don't buy stocks from companies that are purely gaming stock.
>>62391853Delusional retard.>t. use coding agents for real work on the regular
>>62391860> fable made a mario clone in 30 secondsnintendo's been coasting on nostalgia for a decade, ai just speeds up the funeral.
>>62391978> ai can't even make a new zelda dungeon that isn't a copy of the last one
Nintendo probably has the best fundamentals and use case of any business stock in the world. They're far more innovative than Apple ever was, in fact many of Apples innovations are just from copying Nintendo's homework.
