Too expensive? Prefer alts? Don't trust it? Or do you simply think there are better opportunities elsewhere?Curious to hear your thoughts.
you can get better gains on stocks. those companies work for your money. btc sits there doing nothing but has the same risk profile as sharing a hobos needle without greater fools left to carry it to $200k
give me reasons to hold btc.
I am holding because I bought in 2020 before etfs now I refuse to sell because I'll get audit raped by the CRA supposedly so I'm stuck holding until it's got better tax laws or borrowing rates.
Invest only in actual products made by actual companies.
>>62395695People have been calling Bitcoin worthless for over a decade. At some point it's worth asking why demand keeps returning every cycle.
>>62395915Because I can hold it for the long term while exploring new ways to put it to work.
>>62398057Might as well do a bank transfer as it's more private, costs less and the money won't disappear into thin air.
>>62395655Because it's not actual Bitcoin, unlike Bitcoin SV (ticker: BSV), which I'm holding.
>>62398819BSV is super dead super super dead
>>62395655BTC is dead.Western governments are all over it, they want your Capital Gains via taxes.Unless you got in early and got out of the country with your gains early you’re fucked. Australia in its recent tax changes has hidden a trap for crypto gains, by stating any earnings made overseas in the last 12 years must be retroactively given to the government to be taxed, if you’re audited and your physical wealth exceeds your earnings, you’re fucked. Thats outside that statute of limitations for records. It’s a dual purpose instrument- to catch people working in tax havens like Dubai who claimed they were leaving Australia forever then returned 10 years later with unexplained millions, but also to catch crypto investors who were using decentralised exchanges. The ATO has been using bots to crawl through ledgers linking transactions to addresses and piecing together expenditure and entry. If you’re caught it’s not avoidance it’s evasion. It’s too late now but y’all should’ve moved over to XMR years ago.
>>62399898Btc is dead? Wow. Who are you?
>>62398057>>62398163How!!!???
>>62395655Worst opportunity by every metric.
>>62396879Why do people go to the casino?
>>62400285Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein.
>>62395655microstrategies fucked it up. he's so maxdebt and overleveraged it's too easy to rip his company apart with the next recession and then take his btc for pennies on the dollar
>>62400895also notice the ceo for mstr is white male. we know the results already
>>62400974Is he gay? The way he speaks
>>62400859Where are you hiding boss? I know you're alive
>>62400293Oh no, stop staking your btc
I hold 3.4btc. is it enough?
>>62395655Token not needed.
>>62395655My IQ is >85
>>62395925What's the tax rate there?
2x pump potential from here AT MOST, while the downside potential (probably $30k bottom) is terrible.
>>62402158Same as USA cap gains but canada doesn't give you any incentive to hold long term. TFSA is sick though. I just treat my btc as zero so it keeps me aggressive on the risk curve with my TFSA.
>>62401192Buy more. 100 btc
>>62400293By native staking through protocols that prioritize self-custody. Simple.
>>62396002>Invest only in actual products made by actual companies. What are you investing?
>>62398163Bank transfer? Hmmm
If you're not holding BTC when it is clear that the fiat system is on its last days you are beyond retarded.
>>62395655Big Thai Cock? Well I mean like why aren't YOU holding it?I mean.
>why aren't you holding goy gold/biz/ is already out of crypto.https://web.archive.org/web/202602162103...f-bitcoin/
>>62404304Lol
>>62404122Why do you need fiat?
>>62401190Why though? If you can earn from your BTC while maintaining self-custody, I don't see the problem.
>>62398819If it's still BTC and I still control the keys, I don't see why it stops being Bitcoin.
>>62395655>Why aren't you holding BTC?I will buy when it's cheaper. 100 bucks seems like a fair value for the future of finance.
>>62399676I guess not but..
There is simply no reason for it to have any value boss.
>>62399898You are a fucking retard. The current price means NOTHING. Its NOTHING! Lower the better to buy more.Boomers are still in the seats of power. They dont embrace BTC because most boomers not in some kind of power see it as not something they can walk into a bank and ask their financial advisor to get. Therefore its fake and gay to them. The boomers being the biggest voting block, are the most catered to. So basically the reason why the world has not been embracing digital is because of these fucking idiots.Once boomers are out of the seats of power and fucking gone and millennials are in charge its going to get real digital.BTC will inevitably be embraced.More countries will just adopt it as their main currency like El Salvador. Its the best logical option. Your economy is crumbling and the nations dollar is shit? Just adopt bitcoin its quite simple. Not only that, but owning a Bitcoin will be so rare, everything will cost in Satoshis. Once Amazon adopts a bitcoin logo payment option its 10000% on. Once Musk post some stupid twitter picture of a moon bitcoin mining farm its going to moon.Get it now while its cheap. Price has no meaning at the moment. If your a day trader I get why you may be pessimistic about it. But if your a hodler and believe in BTC Philosophically and not thinking of it like a share/stock then thats the right idea.BTC is known by everyone. If you went to what ever hood you are in and asked the most wet cigarette smelling schizo hobo " Hey have you heard of that digital gold thing" the response would be some schizo babble with "That bitcoin stuff:" Its backed by million computers. It takes IRL power/electrical energy and time (mining) to produce. Thats what money realy is or better to say what gives something value. Time+Energy. Its basically electricity converted into money. And electricity is not free.HODL is the right idea for a boomerless digital embraced future. dont let Day Traders do it for quick buck not future.
>>62395695>"those companies work for your money.">babby's first dable on stocks>doesn't know owners are diluting your investment and buying mansions with the ATM
>>62399898To add to this, You are thinking of like 10x+ full BTC holders. Average persons goal is to have a single one or 2 to just hold on to the future. The scenario you are talking about is like for some kind of rich guy living on the lamb which is like 1 out of 10 million people. The real persons goal is to get a bitcoin and maybe it will be like 300,000 per coin in the future. Then you have enough for your familys college or whatever. Just a good foundation for a son/daughters future. Not somthing you just cash out to cartoonishly and buy lambos with and post videos of your garage with hexagon light ceilings.
