But forcussing on BE, NVDA, NVTS, natural gas the BE boxes produce 800v output DC, NVDA invested a few billion into NVTS which changed it business to focus on electrical supply gear to run at 800v to supply NVDA new AI chip racks/servers which use 800v so they skip the whole step up, transmission, step down sequence, they only need gas supply lines to the site for onsite generation by BE boxes, and BE boxes do not need cooling for generation, are easier to permit because they do not produce the same SOX/NOX emissions. Elon Musk bought and installed GEV turbines and never bothered with air permitting and ran into a big problem. So I think for more foucused applications BE is the way to for data centers where gas is already available, and for commercial and residential if BE gets around to making for those applications.
