Even though Canada's population is skyrocketing and GDP is skyrocketing, the stocks and houses are slow.
What's up with that?

With poos you lose.

Global warming will make Canada the new USA. Massive cities will be built where today there's only tundra and ice. Meanwhile most of the USA will become uninhabitable.
>>
>>62401803
WRF are you even talking about?
"The Canadian GDP stalled in the first quarter of 2026, holding the 0.2% contraction from the last quarter of 2025, and contrasting with market expectations that it would expand by 0.3%"

The Canadian Shield will never be populated in any significant manner, no matter how warmer it gets.
BC is too mountainous.
The middle provinces are no different than Nebraska if they warm up.
It really comes down to Toronto, and the Windsor-Quebec corridor in general. NIMBYism, boomers, and general incompetence will make sure it never develops meaningfully.
Canada can support 100M people at most, which is respectable but will never be USA-tier. Their economy will also not scale linearly with their population as we can clearly see now. Their GDP per capita will crater.
>>
>>62403424
All my calculations and peer reviewed journals say canada can indeed support 400 million people
>>
>>62403424
If nigeria can support 250 million people, then canada can easily match that, since we have more than double their arable land

Real life isn't Sim City. Sure you can theoretically reach those numbers, but your quality of life will drop so hard that immigrants will no longer be attracted to come over.
>>
>>62401803
Because Canada is in the middle of a rather rapid transition from a white country to a brown country. There's no long term upside. It is quite literally over.
>>
>>62401803
Did you check the news dumb nigger? Its India 2.0 now?

I keep all my money in USD and crypto. We're headed for an Argentina style collapse and it won't even take that long

Canadas main product now is scams and government paperwork. 25% of the population either works directly or indirectly for the government. Manufacturing is dead, resource extraction is dead, housing is imploding from a two decade long bubble. The only tool the government wants to use is to increase taxes, scammers and paperwork.

It can still be saved though, whoever owns canada just has to be willing to do it.

I can barely afford groceries and my rent
I will never afford a home nor accumulate the money to leave
I get fleeced investing in anything that isn't a Canadian stock and I'm not smart enough nor have the foresight to invest in something that I'm willing to endure the foreign exchange fees for
I hate this country

GTA has the same population over 10 times the area, yet it has lower GDP. Gee I wonder why Singapore manages to do that. Do they happen to sit on a narrow strait of literally the most important trade route on earth, and do they happen to be racially homogenous, and do they happen to have a soft autocracy under a benevolent dictator?
>>62407153
You're not funny. Canada barely has meaningful public housing, especially for productive people.
