I nearly physically cried today, as I thought about how much money I've lost on rug pulls. Years and years of hard labor down the drain. It will be hard to live with myself after these unbearable defeats and shameHow does one do it?
>>62408110I have less than a year to live and I'm destitute, i don't think much about things I can't control anymore.

I sometimes start shaking uncontrollably when I look at my portfolio
I bought $GOOG $393 and it's lost 12% of its value since then. I know this is supposed to be something where 10 years from now I'll be glad that I invested in google, but i cant stomach the fact that i just got into investing and i get hit with this shit.
>>62409638>12%10-20% fluctuations in stocks are just noise, and if you can't stomach that, stick to index funds.>I know this is supposed to be something where 10 years from now I'll be glad that I invested in google, but i cant stomach the fact that i just got into investing and i get hit with this shit. That happened to me with Micron back in 2018. It tanked like 40-50%--much more than the wider market. It was the first stock I ever bought, getting bored with with my boomer index fund portfolio, seeing WSB types boasting about their gains and succumbing to FOMO, but also getting more interested in investing, so I bought after doing what little security analysis I could muster (muh P/E, muh P/B, muh interest coverage), got rug pilled, and sulked over the winter. Then it rebounded, and I kicked myself for not buying more when it was cheap. Now it's up 20x for me--life-changing money.
>>62408110Money comes and goes. Maybe it's time for you to finally learn your lesson and stop investing in things whose sole purpose for existing is to rugpull.
>>62409712I did learn that lesson, but it doesn't help
